Super near to the central station (60 seconds walk)! Easily access to any city from here! You can buy lotsa things from Paddy Market, walk back, put your things down, and walk back out again and buy again... :) There are many pubs and eateries here in this area. Warm and helpful staff who really ensure the safety of their guests by checking everyone who enters are only their GUESTs (holds access card) and no Tom, Dick or Harry.

The staff were mostly very friendly and helpful just like being at home the kitchen facilities are excellent and help low income travellers very good overall hotwater was great in showertrs and 24 hor reception and access key were very helpful next time will try to get to the sauna movies were great too.very relaxing its the little things that make a difference. The location is absolutely excellent. The Rooms and facilities were very clean as well! I loved the fact that the safety deposit boxes in the room were very big. You need your own lock for it though. The hostel is very helpful if you want to go on a trip and tells you everyday what kind of activities there are to do in the hostel or around the city. Great facilities, comfortable beds, Pool and sauna, we were lucky enough to have a balcony in our four bed dorm, spacious, big lockers (big enough to fit my backpack and a few other items). Great common area and kitchen. Excellent hostel. beds super comfy, clean room, clean sheets, good food at good prices, friendly staff, hot showers with good pressure. great location and liked that you had to swipe card to enter after 9pm so not just anybody can get in. I really love those days I stayed here. it's located near city center. shopping street. the public area is nice and comfortable. I love the kitchen also. room and bed is quite good. The location near Central Station is unbeatable! For backpackers, I reckon it'd be a great place, they're well stocked with "things to do" stuff. That I had somewhere to stay. That's it. The young drunkards at Scubar (the pub next door) who loiter around that area and simply kiss you just because they are drunk... Cant change human nature but some people left a mes everywhere and did not clean up no sense of community or comeraderie. Internet access is quite expensive if you would buy it per day. If you get internet access for a whole week the price is pretty okay. We had more than 4 people sleeping nearly every night in our 4 bed dorm as one guy had his girlfriend sneaking in. So perhaps a security issue there? Key cards were a pain as you usually had to swipe them several times before they worked including in the bathrooms. Free wifi is only for members pool is more for cooling off rather than swimming (not complaining!). bathroom not so clean but thats more about disgusting girls who think its ok to leave dirty sanitary products on floor, and vomit in common area near pool stairs. happy to report that staff had that cleaned up in no time,. nothing. Noisy at night. Lack of recycling for paper/cardboard and plastics. Internet didn't work a few times.Can't think of anything!. Bed sheets had hairs on them, showers were not clean, again hairs all over. I expressly called to ask about lockers and was not informed that i need to bring my own padlock, that was an unnecessary extra out of pocket expense for me. Bathrooms need updating (rubber band holds door shut!). Locker for luggage is quite expensive and there is no possibility to store the luggage for free. Everything is chargeable even though the wi-fi. It is too ridiculous to pay aud4 per hour for the internet usage. Other guests were very noisy at night. Our private bathroom was never cleaned, for the five nights we stayed there. Not enough towels for two people on the double bedroom. No free wi-fi. stuffy and hot. You need to bring photo identification for check in (it is their policy). Could not tell us why? If you challenge this requirement, they tell you to go elsewhere. Maybe terrorist do not have photo id. Nsw Police Act states you cannot be asked to produce a car driver's licence by any person other than the Police. Has yha got an exemption ?. The only bad thing is really old air-con system which doesn't allow you to control the temperature in the room - I was freezing in ours where it kept at 19 c degree. Disco next to the hostel is very loud till 4 o'clock in the morning. The nightclub below our room. the homeless coming in through café during the day. Nothing. Nothing really. WIFI should be free as almost every where in world it is free of charge in hostels. no tv in ensuite room. Not much not to like - was all good :). I feel like I wasted money by getting a room with an ensuite because the shower in there had no pressure at all. It barely dripped out. - no free WiFi and convertible plugs to charge laptop. - I stayed for 6 days but staff has not changed bedsheets -No towel is given. no free wifi, room untidy. Reception Desk was extremely slow when dealing with Customers. Internet is not convenient. The internet account only can be used in one device, it's complicate to change the account from iphone to computer. It would be better if all my device can be online at the same time by using only one accout. No powerpoint near the bed. Bedside tables would be handy too. I had to clean the mirror in the bathroom - it was smeared from the previous attempt! The closeness (>1cm) of the bathroom door to the front of the toilet is a hazard!. The night manager on the 2nd march 2013 was an arrogant arsehole who treated us like second rate citizens. The sheets had holes in them and my booking request for a parking spot was not honored even though we booked months in advance. I have stayed at other backpackers in Sydney for much less money per night and we have had a tv and own balcony. For the price I paid, I would have expected this since I had a room with it's own bathroom. I will not stay here again and I will not recommend it to anyone I know.
