    Great location. Staff were friendly and helpful. The facilities were also great and I like that the place was surrounded with lots of trees and gardens so that staying there was very relaxing and laid back - very similar to the Darwin vibe. I would recommend this place to other travellers and will definitely come back again. - Very attractive ... what people say » pool & tropical garden setting.... low profile buildings (ie 2-3 floors only). Close to city centre & local buses. Friendly & helpful staff willing to be helpful with our later departure. Stored our luggage whilst we were on trip.     Staff: Excellent service, follow up. Courtesy and pleasant demeanor. As a previous client, I have always been impressed by the courtesy bus drivers' positive and cheerful contribution to the NT tourist business. - Very convenient for early flight next day.     Excellent location and close proximity to CBD and able to walk to quite a few attractions in Darwin itself. Short trip to Cullen Bay Ferry, Mindl Markets and Darwin Sailing Club to watch sunset which is a must. Very friendly accommodating staff and service of rooms excellent. - Friendly service.     Ibis was able to provide the support we needed when preparing for an early start with a planned Adventure holiday. Staff were exceptionally supportive, ensuring out of hours arrival and departure could be managed with bags being stored safely. The location ensured places of interest could be accessed with the spare hours we had. - I love the clo... what people say » se proximity to everything. You could stept outside the door and just a short walk up the street and you were in the middle of everything. I loved the friendly Staff...always smiling and cheerful!     We stayed at the Kings Canyon Resort for one night. The location is excellent. The room was clean, quiet but basic for the money that you are paying, although it must cost alot more to run a resort in the middle of nowhere. The staff at the reception were pleasant and very helpful. On checking in I was given a $50 resort credit voucher. I would recommend you stay the night at Kings - Although building didn't look appealing rooms were pleasantly well designed, with modern luxurious touch, large and comfortable. Nice patio too... This is the only place to stay in Kings Canyon, and it is in the middle of a desert, I didn't expect such a nice room. It is expensive, but as soon as I entered a room I felt that it's worth the money. We stayed only one night so we didn't use any facilities.

    When one takes into consideration this place's location, it's just brilliant. The rooms are simple, clean, comfy, spacious. Great value for money - not to be sneezed at in the NT, where everything seems ridiculously pricey ( for a Brit!). This was a great choice for us. - This place is the most tranquil place I have ever stayed at. Have stayed in places with a higher star rating that were not at the same standard.

    We were very comfortable for our one night stay. Enjoyed our meal at the attached restaurant. The staff were very helpful. Pretty location apart from (see next box) . Enjoyed a swim in the small pool which was a shock as the water was cold but once used to it was refreshing. We Went by coach next morning to Ulura. We booked a tour that took us camping for two nights and the hotel offered to stow our luggage for us until we returned.

    Loved teh new part, but next time we want to stay on a ground floor apartment of the new lagoon area. Our Kids really enjoyed it. We would love to stay in one of the studios one day, but believe it would be just too expensive for us, but WOW they looked fantastic - Location was good ,walks on beach, pool great ,eating facilities good.Have staye... what people say » d here at least 4times . New area looks great and hopefully older area will also be improved.

    The proprietors were outstanding. We arrived having lost the use of our credit card as it had been cancelled due to online fraud. Our debit card turned out to be out of date. We were in the embarrassing situation of not being able to pay short of doing a direct bank transfer. The owner said "don't worry, when you get back to Tasmania, get in touch... what people say » with us and let us know your new credit card number". He showed amazing trust. He also promptly phoned the taxi company to ensure we would not miss o - Great room with fridge so you can prepare your own meals if on a budget! Staff were fantastic, knowledgeable about the area, helped us plan where to go, which buses to get and even helped us with setting up an Australian mobile (this was our first stop of our year in Australia)... 5 star service couldn't have asked for better hosts! Right near airport ($20 taxi to and from airport) Not much within walking distance but bus stops right outside the hotel and the staff are more than happy to help w

    From the very helpful manageress who stayed open several hours extra to see I got in alright, to the expansive car parking outside each unit. The key cards - two, one for power and the other to unlock the door. The quiet of the location - being the most northern away from Darwin. - The room that we stayed in was excellent.     This hotel is probably the most conveniently located in Alice Springs (short walk to the town) and the restaurant/bar/pool area is very pleasant. The quality of the restaurant was a pleasant surprise.
