Ibis was able to provide the support we needed when preparing for an early start with a planned Adventure holiday. Staff were exceptionally supportive, ensuring out of hours arrival and departure could be managed with bags being stored safely. The location ensured places of interest could be accessed with the spare hours we had. I love the close proximity to everything. You could stept outside the door and just a short walk up the street and you were in the middle of everything. I loved the friendly Staff...always smiling and cheerful! Always greeted guests with a friendly Hello! Clean room and very comfortable! Nice and quiet.

The room was comfortable. The food at the restaurant was good and bar has a very relaxed atmosphere. The pools were freezing...but good to soak sore legs in. The room and pool needed a bit of TLC. The shower had mold in it,the air con made a noise and the pool had a few tiles missing. It is located a little to far from the town centre,but the walk was invigorating for me. likely a little to far for small children. I thought that a microwave in the rooms wouldve been a nice touch. to be able to reheat food. The main pool had a spa, which was cold... I think it its too cold to get in when the air is 30 degrees... It's probably never going to be warm enough to use! Nice for a quick refresh.. Not so good for a relaxing dip. The bed was very hard, the room was nosie mainly due tothe sliding door not fitting correctly in the frame, also the lock on the sliding door was a bit of a worry. View from our room. Dated bathroom. Insufficient car spaces. Lack of follow-up to my report their internet kiosk wasn't working. - No gate in a not so very safe area - Cleaning staff used to ask me "you don`t want me to make the bed, do you?" - Dishes never got changed in my four days stay - Floor only got cleaned if staff was asked to do. All good!. The resturant food was way too spicy. some items missing or not working in rooms: eg light bulbs, glasses Traffic noise from some rooms. None. Bathroom could do with updating. Breakfast was not included in our room when booking thru letsbookhotel.com and to get it was an additional$17. Pricy for cereal and toast....$11 more if you wanted eggs. There was no room service and the bar menu pretty poor. Nothing. no free wifi cars passing my room early morning. Restaurant over priced for what you got, tables without tablecloths, meat dish was just that - meat, (and a corn cob). Shower facilities not great due to some cleanliness issues otherwise ok. That we drove for 16hrs from Adelaide and all we wanted was a shower, but we couldn't because the guy next door was screaming and swearing at us to be quiet and frightened our 2 small kids to the point where we almost walked out. Very disappointing, and won't be staying there on our way back through. Prices on drinks Indigenous harassing me for money inside the premises whilst I was in laundry sitting waiting for my washing. No microwave, not enough parking. N/a. Nothing. The bathrooms in the block I stayed over looking the pool are in need some attention. More sunloungers would have been good. Noise via windows re vehicles and coaches arriving and departing. taped music is Restaurant was terrible ....swearing/ rude. No spy hole in door. No issues to upset us. We were not very happy with the retaurant we had to send a meal back they did not charge us for it. Steak was overcooked and mashed potatoes old. The scrambled eggs were awful. There was a mix up with our room booking but the staff were very helpful in resolving the problem. The bathroom was very basic and could do with refurbishing. The aircon was noisy. One of the mattresses was uncomfortable, probably at the end of its life. The ambience as you approached the rooms was prison-like. Bed far too soft. Happy hour promoted by reception staff, but not all drinks included and only learnt this after buying bottles of James Boag (a fantastic Tasmanian lager) which was excluded from promotion. We had a second floor room and there was no lift. The car park was often quite crowded. Air conditioning struggled to cope with the heat.
