Staff: Excellent service, follow up. Courtesy and pleasant demeanor. As a previous client, I have always been impressed by the courtesy bus drivers' positive and cheerful contribution to the NT tourist business. Very convenient for early flight next day. Very nice to relax in the wonderful swimming pool and get a good nights sleep before long flight next day. Good value meals and wines. Nice friendly staff.
all reviews » Stayed two nights at the resort, can not find any fault with the place. Staff were very friendly and the service was exceptional. Would definately stay there again. The location is great for someone who needs to be at the airport early. The swimming pool is nice and relaxing. The food is good. The staff is freindly. The Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to the airport (5min walking). From darwin city, it's 15min with a taxi (approx. 30 aud). We stayed in the hotel one night to be able to go to the airport very early. For this purpose it's been perfect. Two visits in four days - told the receptionist I was disappointed with the first room...she upgraded me to a king room without hesitation. Plenty of towels and room was cool on arrival.. The self contained bungalow was a nice change and, the resort was close to the airport and not far from Darwin city and inner suburbs where I was working. staff friendly and helpful i need to organise a hire car and they did that with out any trouble at all they where great. the pools are great and the atmosphere is good also the outloook when having A drink outside. Handy to the airport, and the business I was visiting. This was really useful. Pool area and resort feel so close to the airport. Suites were spacious. There should be a sign/board asking the guests to be quiet at night!. Not much at all. After a phone call the night before to confirm my booking it was wrong when I got to the resort. I was booked in with a work colleague to share a queen room with one bed!!!!. Rooms were a bit ordinary. Room cleaning service was not so good. No record of the fact that I had prepaid with letsbookhotel.com. Attempted to charge me twice. YOU were at fault. finding out that there were daily changes to you room tariff. the fridge in the rooms. every time we stay the fridge is never cool, we have to take it out of the wooden cupboard to get it to operate properly. Infact the fridge is really hot and i believe this is a hazard as well. lounge not comfortable, need better pillows on the bed. No mini bar in rooms, staff have incorrect information about the shuttle bus and told us we had to book a taxi. Food is a bit over the top on price. Restaurant prices! Coming from Asia, an imported steak {from Aus) was a$8.00. Here, a$42.00!. Not Much...all good. Maybe better Internet. No meals delivered to room and no mini-bar. Nothing. there was no coffee shop only a bar. Expensive but Darwin seems to be generally very expensive (the city is not really nice, but Kakadu park is fantastic). Rooms substandard for four star hotel...no room service, no mini bar - too tired to go to restaurant so hungry first night - lack of toiletries in bathroom other than shampoo, conditioner and soap. No lighting so arriving at night made it difficult to find room despite map. My bungalow was for disabled visitors and I would have prefered to be told this when I checked in. The toilet seat was missing and the carpet stained. The dust on furniture and venetian blinds was terrible. The pool was way too cold for everyong I spoke to. room are not anythinglike they are picture on line only reason i didnt complain is because i was there for a funeral and i just need to sleep if i was to stay again it would be different also not enough pillows in the room and the aircon was very noisey. when having A shower the water went all over the floor so I think the drainage is not too good. Wifi was very poor. As a business traveller, to pay $320 per night but only have poor wi fi was disappointing. It was terribly slow to the point of being useless, quite apart from the fact that it wasn't available in the room. Door handle had a loose and insecure feel to it. Lights in Bathroom blown, called reception to ask for assistance as dark during day, but noone came. It was difficult to use bathroom at night. Young girl who I checked in with was rude, unattentive and treated me with disdain. I have worked all my life in customer service all my life and have never complained before. I will admit I was tired but I live in the territory and make about 12 trips to Darwin per year and probably won't stay here again because of her. We planned to stay an extra (3rd) night, but decided to go elsewhere as we were going to be charged more for the extra night than the original 2 nights. Overpriced not value $375 a night each for two rooms but better was expected noisy. The room was small, nowhere to put anything, (bags, luggage computer etc) smelt very musty, was not clean, outdoor patio very dirty, fridge and fan loud and not able to be used at night. Laundry was unclean. Breakfast service in restaurant really poor, we went elsewhere. We were really disappointed. The rooms are old and tired. The pillows thin and hard. The air conditioning didn't work properly. There's no room service after 10pm and all this for $249 per night. The rooms were average, small and boxy. No meals available if you have a late arrival. run down and overrated unresponsive staff lumpy bed noisy drunken clientele.
