    This was one of the highlights of our australia trip! Truly a little bit of paradise in the outback. The garden is filled with birds and reptiles. The owner is very comitted to his guests. We stayed about three days. The owner created neatly dayfilled itinerarys for us, for each day, to explore the beautifull surroundings. We stayed in a twin r - Uwe and Giuseppe so friendly and positively responsive to my presence. Loved the property, the privacy and quiet, the scents of nature, the wildlife, native plants, rhythms of nature and all of Uwe's hard work to clear exotic weeds - thus encouraging the return of native life. Solar powered to boot! Easy access to East and West McDonnells, close to town, clean and safe. Quite reasonable in cost compared to what is available in Alice. For me, this was heaven.

    The location and the facilities (close to shops/post office/supermarket/dining) were excellent. Organisation (buses/the shuttle [great idea] were also excellent. Our apartment was very well appointed and comfortable with everything you could possible want or need in it. Ayers rock resort is closer than Alice spring to Uluru national Park. That's a better option if you don't have enought time for travelling around australia. - Emu apartments- nice hotel. Rooms are spacious. Pros: close to airport, close to park. There was a kitchen in the apartment and that helped us save food costs. Cons: Everything was expensive. There is a 1.5% charge to using credit cards in Ayers Rock so bring plenty of cash

    From the very helpful manageress who stayed open several hours extra to see I got in alright, to the expansive car parking outside each unit.     The proprietors were outstanding. We arrived having lost the use of our credit card as it had been cancelled due to online fraud. Our debit card turned out to be out of date. We were in the embarrassing situation of not being able to pay short of doing a direct bank transfer. The owner said "don't worry, when you get back to Tasmania, get in touch... what people say » with us and let us know your new credit card number". He showed amazing trust. He also promptly phoned the taxi company to ensure we would not miss o - Great room with fridge so you can prepare your own meals if on a budget! Staff were fantastic, knowledgeable about the area, helped us plan where to go, which buses to get and even helped us with setting up an Australian mobile (this was our first stop of our year in Australia)... 5 star service couldn't have asked for better hosts! Right near airport ($20 taxi to and from airport) Not much within walking distance but bus stops right outside the hotel and the staff are more than happy to help w

    Views were excellent. Apartment was a good size with large balcony. Daily cleaning best standard we have experienced. New carpet. Two TVs (one in bedroom) appreciated. Location quiet, yet close to everything. Lobby, coffee shop and restaurant each a cool, peaceful refuge from the heat. King bed(2singles) comfortable, so slept well. The location was perfect - a very pretty area, lovely view over the harbour and easy walking distance to shops, supermarkets, wharf precinct.     The Darwin Central Hotel is perfectly situated, close to retaurants, tourist venues and public transportantion. My room was clean, quiet, attractive, and well-air-conditioned. We stayed there the first night of our trip after arriving in Darwin, but decided to stay a night longer as we liked it so much. Highly recommended!

    We've stayed there a few times - some for work and some personal. We have enjoyed the facilities/wining and dining and always found staff more than helpful. We have spent time in the pool which is welcoming and clean. LOVE the new block and especially the art in the new block.     This hotel is probably the most conveniently located in Alice Springs (short walk to the town) and the restaurant/bar/pool area is very pleasant. The quality of the restaurant was a pleasant surprise.
