    The fact that it was an old wool store business converted and the facade was left in tact. I loved the big old black doors and the floor mosaic telling us what the building had been used for in the past. Has any history of the building been kept to view while staying at the Oaks Goldsborough, Darling Harbour?? All the staff were super friendly and helpful. The hair drier wasn't working in my room - house keeping replaced it straight away.     When we requested a different room, the receptionist handled it in a friendly, efficient manner. Very impressed in general with the staff. Although young, they displayed confidence and a thorough knowledge of their roles. Spa options were very good. - Rooms were clean and comfortable, location was great and spa and pool area were great!

    We are a family of 6 with 4 young children. So, we loved that the resort offered activities that allowed us to have fun, and relax, as a family e.g. fantastic playground, pools, tennis court, beach, DVD player, iPod/iPhone music stereo, to name a few. Our 3 bedroom villa felt like a luxury home-away-from-home with every homely comfort, and space, ... what people say » necessary for a large family to operate day-to-day (e.g. washing machine, dryer, dishwasher). Staying at Magenta Shores Resort exceeded our expectatio - Loved the lay-out and the proximity of everything. We had privacy but not far to walk to any of the pools or the bar/restaurant. The receptionist on a Friday night / Saturday (not sure of her name but she has 3 young sons) - she was awesome! Very friendly, helpful and a real delight to deal with.

    Quiet location, 2 bedroom townhouse was very modern,spacious & clean overlooking a nice native garden. Bed was comfortable. Enjoyed lying around the pool.     My husband and I, loved the location , as it was walking distance to cafes, buses , ferry, shops, Sydney harbour, Opera house and trains. We loved the comfy bed and pillows so much we haven't slept as well since arriving home. We loved the polite, well mannered and very professional staff, who treat you with such respect no matter what you are wea... what people say » ring. The staff were so wonderful as they followed up on our tour booking for the next day ,which we didn't expect. It was awesome. Nothing was too mu - Very comfortable and quiet hotel in an excellent location. Staff offered us a reasonably priced upgrade to a harbour view room which we accepted. Beautiful room on a high floor and lovely view. Great bathroom with separate shower which I prefer. We had a room service late snack which arrived promptly. Quality of food was average but as we only had the mushroom soup other options could have been tastier. Breakfast was fantastic with many choices for a a wide variety of cultures.

    The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The pool/spa was just bliss to use at the end of a tiring day up the mountains! The Harvest restaurant served quality food and had a lovely atmosphere, again with great staff. Whilst the Gazebo restaurant was perfect for breakfast and very well managed. The overall surroundings were beautiful... what people say » and a pleasure to walk around. - We stayed 2 nights and our room was sufficient and served the purpose. the grounds and facilities are beautiful and relaxing. Food at the restaurant was fantastic though just a bit pricey. Bar was excellent; service impeccable - staff very helpful

    Location is great. Walk past the restaurant to a terrific beach, good for kids at the south end, surf fishing at the north. Ambience amongst nature is sensational and the layout beautiful. We had a spa room and enjoyed that under the glass ceiling at night very much. Heaps to waste your time with and a sensational child friendly pool complex. Not ... what people say » so much for toddlers I think. Already spoken to family and we will return!! Try the coastal walk at the south end of the beach, it leads to a long sur - Very helpful staff. The location with access to the beach was a great surprise and we loved sitting in the garden bar with beach views. The whole set up with rainforesty walks to get around made for a really great atmosphere/ambiance. The meal we had on site was excellent. Would definitely go back.

    Friendly staff and efficient check in and out procedures. We used it as an aiport hotel before we left after a 2 week holiday. Very convenient for the airport (10 minutes) and with a very good range of local restaurants and a beach oppoosite - not so isolated as some airport hotels can be. Good availability of taxis in the morning so no waiting wh... what people say » en we left. - The staff are always so helpful and friendly when I stay at Novotel Brighton. In particular Mitchell the assistant mgr this stay. I had a problem with a double booking and he sorted it really easily! I also love the gym facilities. I travel a bit for work and it's great I get to have such great fitness options.

    I loved the facilities. There was a huge selection of things to do including the pool, spa, sauna, pool table, table tennis, tennis court, guest lounge, bar, restaurant, etc. Fabulous! Our room was also larger than we expected it to be. Food at restaurant was delicious too.     As an Events Manager I had traveled from nz to organised a ladies night out for a friends birthday at the Sheraton Sydney. As soon as we walked in the doors we were treated like princesses and the service continued till we were spoilt rotten. I was raised up with lavished hotels so I have high and fussy expectations. The bathroom bat - We found the hotel to be great - its location, staff, and comfort would be hard to beat. We certainly will be returning. The room we had was a corner room that faced out to the park which was lovely and it also had a extremely comfortable bed. The full breakfast available in the dining room had everything anyone could ask for from hot porridge through to bread and butter pudding with whipped cream.     The view as we stayed in a 2 bedroom oceanfront apartment on level 6 and they had bay windows(from floor to ceiling) that slides across to open all the way and the apartment was very spacious. You can also hire bikes for $10 half a day and children under 18 are free. That was great. We love the location, great ocean views, helpful staff, pool, cleanliness, comfort, close proximity to good restaurants - just the best place for a winter break - but we'll be back in summer as well!
