The Outrigger Apartments were very well located for both the town of Port Douglas and the beach. The living area in our two bedroomed apartment was spacious and well equipped and the apartment itself was all that we needed for our stay. The Owner /Managers were very helpful and welcoming. We would have no hesitation in recommending this accomodation.

The swimming pool was a little smaller than appeared on line but this was not a serious problem given the proximity of the beach. The pool was lovely and shady, unfortunately on a hot afternoon there was a slight waft of the bins located nearby. Leaf blower was used everyday and was quite loud even though we were on the third floor. 2 flights of steps up to our room (no lift) - that said, we didn't ask to change rooms. My bed room window was next to neighbours balcony so no afternoon siesta. Nothing really, maybe suggest a wall clock in the room but that's about it. Having to go back to sydney. Pool could have been warmer.
