Was more than impressed with the apartment. Was by far the best
apartment I have stayed in for the price. Was close to the beach, main
street, fishing and marina. Julie and Gavin were such a lovely couple. I
have nothing bad to say about my stay at Port Douglas Queenslander. I
will not go go into the price I paid, but if it was more than what I did
pay, I still would of been happy. Thanks Julie and Gavin, will not
hesitate to reccomend this lovely place. And thanks for my clothes

Well appointed, clean, self-contained unit that was very private and comfortable. Pool was lovely and the gardens were beautiful and well-maintained. Staff was very friendly, very helpful and efficient. A great location with a five minute, easy walk to the shops or the beach which was excellent.
The Queenslander is a good medium priced, value for money holiday property.
The location was very good, only a short walk to both Macrossan Street and the main beach area. A very comprehensive tour desk and free off street parking. Apartment was spacious and clean.Pleasant to stay there.
Julie and Gavin were excellent hosts making me very welcome.
The apartment was first class and the whole complex was spotless and superbly maintained.
Julie organised my trips and travel arrangements with ease and efficiency.

The Port Douglas Queenslander was ideally located and the owners were welcoming and helpful especially with tours and local information. We stayed four nights and now wish we had stayed longer. Our apartment was spacious, well equipped, clean, and great value for money.
Lovely quiet, very well appointed fully self-contained apartments with
everything, at a extremely good-value price. Close to the main Port
Douglas area but just far enough away to feel away from the rush. Great
facilities, managers and under-cover parking.
Gavin and Julie were incredibly helpful with everything from booking
tours and making restaurants reservations to procuring a package for us
from the post office. Great location only a short walking distance from
the main street.
The room had everything we needed and was extremely good value for money. We were there for a wedding at The Yacht Club so it was very conveniently located for us. Handy to have ample parking. Julie was particularly friendly.

Not far from 4 miles beach, the marina, macrossan street (a few minutes away walking)
Staff always présent to help, for the bookings of tours for instance.
The location was quiet, the unit was well appointed & the reception staff were lovely & allowed us to use the pool & park the car under cover until late afternoon, even though we had checked out.

Position was fantastic; the apartment was well equipped with everything we needed; quiet; pool and BBQ facilities very good. The management rpovided great support without being intrusive.

Was very relaxed, not like the big resorts. Its size made it every easy to get in and out of. Was fairly family orientated. Reasonably good value for money.

The Queenslander is an older property so is a little dated, the pool area is small and although stairs are good exercise, dragging the bags up three flights of stairs was an effort.Small balcony area.

The windows were never fully able to shut because they were louver glass. So we could hear people talking by the pool, on their balconies and from the road walking home in the middle of the night being loud.

Unit balconies too close to the next units bedroom and if resort was full, it would be an issue.

Fan speeds were very slow on low and took off like an aeroplane on high. This made it very unconfortable in the bed room at night due to the heat.
