Excellent place to stay and relax in Port Douglas. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly and this made all the difference. The facilities are very good (pool, laundry) and the location is within walking distance of Port Douglas attractions. Five minute walk from the beach across an oval and a park. Very quiet at night. Close to a very nice Chinese Restaurant. And totally unplanned the park was where my husband's 570 km bike ride ended. Lovely!! Free wifi in reception with comfy chairs.
all reviews Location - Short walk to main street and Saturday morning markets. And great location for day trips to Mosman Gorge and Cape Tribulation. The resort is centrally located, is well operated, comfortable and provides excellent value for money. Walking distance to the centre of Port Douglas. Great value. Quiet. Facilities offered and 10 min walk to beach and town. Bed was comfortable. Parking bays have concrete pylons that eat many cays. Still not sure if my damage to the hire care was caused by a scrape on one or if sustained in McCrossen st which is notorious apparently. Cars are plastic now so you don't HEAR it!! Didn't notice till next day. Insured thankfully. I can't think of anything. Tiny shower. Plastic wine glasses. Double entry doors - waste of space.
