Everything, the staff were very friendly and very well mannered from the cleaners to the manager, it was very clean, the food fantastic, the rooms wonderful, just brilliant in every way. We got married at Gretna Green and I would reccommend this hotel to anyone who wants to be treated extra special, we upgraded to the rose suite although quite abit

This hotel should be highly recommended. The rooms were excellent, the staff friendly and accommodating. Good menu at reasonable prices. Very Scottish feel. - The staff made you so welcome and they always had a nice work to say. The food was superb. Couldn't fault it.

I took a shower at six in morning and for some reason shower won't stop. I went to reception and told them the problem. Surprisingly they had maintenance guys even at six in morning. Cane and fixed the problem in minutes.

I like the fact i can bring my dog here, and he can get plenty of exercise round the lovely lake. Its the second time i have been and is a great stop off point when going on long trips to the Isle of Skye or North of Scotland.I also have been given ground floor rooms with a balcony which is great, because the dog can have his water and food outside.

The staff were very polite and helpful. always willing to help in any way they could and nothing seemed too much trouble for them. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was a problem to them and I felt safe and welcomed. I travel frequently south of the border and have never received such a nice welcome as I did here. It makes such a difference when the staff address you by name. - very friendly, relaxed, nice food, good location

The staff were very friendly, the room was very clean and comfortable and very good value for money. I also liked the fact that the hotel was quiet at night so was easy to get a good nights sleep. - The hotel staff were clearly understaffed however they were always verypolite and friendly to us.

Efficient and friendly staff.A well furnished and very clean room. Helpful and effective attempts to ameliorate the affects of inclement weather. - friendly and efficient receptionist. Extras like hair dryer, etc in room. Plenty hot water. Large towels.

Location, price, breakfast( although took a while to get served due to a wedding party and they seemed to serve those that arrived later first ). Would suggest 1. investing in a toast machine so people could help themselves to toast whilst waiting and 2. perhaps lay up the whole room for breakfast. We loved this hotel we stayed in a massive room bigger than our front room, My daughter had her own room and they had put a cot in our room to. The staff where really nice not a miserable person in site very happy to help if needed. View is amazing and the drive up is nice, Not to far from things to do with kids.
