Everything, the staff were very friendly and very well mannered from the cleaners to the manager, it was very clean, the food fantastic, the rooms wonderful, just brilliant in every way. We got married at Gretna Green and I would reccommend this hotel to anyone who wants to be treated extra special, we upgraded to the rose suite although quite abit

If, like me, you live in the south & want to visit Scotland Moffat is a great stopping place. The Black Bull is a very old Scottish coaching Inn. This hotel should be highly recommended. The rooms were excellent, the staff friendly and accommodating. Good menu at reasonable prices. Very Scottish feel. - The staff made you so welcome and they always had a nice work to say. The food was superb. Couldn't fault it.

The staff were very polite and helpful. always willing to help in any way they could and nothing seemed too much trouble for them. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was a problem to them and I felt safe and welcomed. I travel frequently south of the border and have never received such a nice welcome as I did here. It makes such a difference when the staff address you by name. - very friendly, relaxed, nice food, good location

A warm and welcoming hotel. Location, price, breakfast( although took a while to get served due to a wedding party and they seemed to serve those that arrived later first ). Would suggest 1. investing in a toast machine so people could help themselves to toast whilst waiting and 2. perhaps lay up the whole room for breakfast. We loved this hotel we stayed in a massive room bigger than our front room, My daughter had her own room and they had put a cot in our room to. The staff where really nice not a miserable person in site very happy to help if needed. View is amazing and the drive up is nice, Not to far from things to do with kids. We came to this hotel to look around as id seen itona site to get married and we love it and are thinking of using this hotel. The stair way is amazing, We spoke to a few people whilst

We had a group booking of 13 people, the hotel staff were amazing and really made us all feel at home. - The motel style rooms, which was ideal for my dog, the sitting area outside was lovely.

Denise & Paul were wonderful hosts! The room was at the back and very quiet. Nice view of the back garden area. En-suite was spacious & the towel warming rack was a nice surprise.
