Basically everything about the location. Inn. Facilities
I took a shower at six in morning and for some reason shower won't stop. I went to reception and told them the problem. Surprisingly they had maintenance guys even at six in morning. Cane and fixed the problem in minutes.

I like the fact i can bring my dog here, and he can get plenty of exercise round the lovely lake. Its the second time i have been and is a great stop off point when going on long trips to the Isle of Skye or North of Scotland.I also have been given ground floor rooms with a balcony which is great, because the dog can have his water and food outside.

Lovely hotel - overlooking the harbour with magnificent views. Amazing value for money. We had two single rooms with an excellent breakfast - very pleased with our one night in the Portpatrick Hotel. -

The staff were very friendly, the room was very clean and comfortable and very good value for money. I also liked the fact that the hotel was quiet at night so was easy to get a good nights sleep. - The hotel staff were clearly understaffed however they were always verypolite and friendly to us.

This was a small, family run guest house. Stephanie, the proprietor, was an extremely kind and helpful hostess. My room was bright and clean with a comfortable bed. The quality and size of the room was very good value. The service was excellent - I was even welcomed with a complimentary tea and cake.The breakfasts were very tasty and generous & the evening meal I had in my room was superb value. Great location overlooking the town square. The town itself is very pretty and definitely worth a visit. I would not hesitate to return and can thoroughly recommend it.

The staff were excellent with kids especially when we spent most of the
day in hotel cos it was raining & they catered 4 us at lunchtime
even though lunchtime was over they made sandwiches for us all &
even the kids making a noise didn,t faze them at all! A lovely scottish
