Friendly staff and unusual en-suite to main room. Home cooking and quality food. Owner could not do enough to make our stay comfortable. -

Everywhere was so clean, cosy and comfortable. We felt valued by the friendly owners.The en-suite bathroom was large and had separate bath and shower facilities. Towels were beautifully soft. The hospitality tray was the best I have ever seen. Also the provision of a separate lounge for guests was a bonus. Breakfast was to die for-beautifully cook

Comfortable room with an excellent seperate sitting area. Facilities to make a variety of hot drinks with no limit imposed by limiting the amount of milk available. Good hearty breakfast. Near to A64(M) so able to break a long journey without having to go to far and not as soulless as a Travel Lodge.

The location of The Ship is good, in a lovely village. We were able to park right outside the door. Staff were welcoming and the room was lrge, very comfortable, with everything we needed and nice extras like bottled water and biscuits. The breakfast choice was excellent and we also had an evening meal which was very nice, with generous portions.

Needed to stay in Gatehouse of Fleet for business and found the ship-inn was ideal for this. The room was very clean and comfortable with Wi-Fi which allowed me to work in room. The food was great and I was made to feel very welcome by the staff. All in all a great stayed which I would recommend to anyone.

The Landlady was extremely Friendly and Pleasant, and made you more than Welcome, so much so you really felt that you were a member of the Family.The location of the B&B was right on the edge of the town with a Bus Stop 5 Metres away. Breakfast was very good with a wide choice on the menu. Cooked just right.
Room was very spacious and beds were comfortable. I would highly recommed this B&B.

On arrival we received a friendly welcome from our host (Maggie) our room was warm and comfortable with an excellent en-suite, the bed and pillows were luxurious, tea and coffee with fresh milk and shortbread biscuits were provided in the room. An excellent breakfast completed our stay. -

The hotel was heaven made for dog owners who like to include their pets in everything that they do. We were able to have our dog with us all the time, including meal times. This was a small, family run guest house. Stephanie, the proprietor, was an extremely kind and helpful hostess. My room was bright and clean with a comfortable bed. The quality and size of the room was very good value. The service was excellent - I was even welcomed with a complimentary tea and cake.The breakfasts were very tasty and generous & the evening meal I had in my room was superb value. Great location overlooking the town square. The town itself is very pretty and definitely worth a visit. I would not hesitate to return and can thoroughly recommend it.

Run by a very friendly, welcoming and helpful couple. The breakfasts were excellent. They were helpful in suggesting good places to eat in the town. The property was very clean and in a good state of repair and decoration. It is within easy reach of the motorway and a good location to break a north/south journey. -

Our stay was all we had expected when we booked.
