    The hotel was heaven made for dog owners who like to include their pets in everything that they do. We were able to have our dog with us all the time, including meal times. The staff were great, warm and welcoming. The food was delicious and the whole hotel was comfortable and relaxing. The hotel had nice gardens for you to sit in and relax. - I have stayed at Trigony a number of times and on each occasion it was a pleasure. This time I brought my husband, who also very much liked it. Our dogs sleep in the car but it is a perfect stopover for our frequent trips up North and we can walk them safely.

    Home from home, commanding views over Scotland's boarder country this olde worlde Scottish town is right on the m74, but very peaceful and with loads to do. The hotel is well appointed friendly to all and welcomes bikers with little bike garages. The bar sells Innes and Gunn beers one of Scotland's best kept secrets and not to be missed. Simply a great place to stay. - The friendliness and sense of humour of the staff, the restaurant (really great food, not the usual English fried stuff, although they do serve a very good fish and chips), their initiative, although we didn't book it (not too sure when we would be back) they did keep a table for us in their restaurant for Saturday evening just in case we wanted to dine with them. Which, of course, we did!
