  The staff were all incredibly nice and helpful, and they make you feel right at home. The facilities were great too (fully-equipped kitchen, hot showers with tub, and free laundry facilities). The bathrooms aren't gorgeous, but they are charming and everything works quite well. The location was good as well. There's also a 24-hour grocery store that takes about 60 seconds to reac - The staff are really nice! They briefly explained where to go near the guesthouse and in the city center when I first arrived. They clean the house frequently so it's clean and tidy. They are keen to provide some local tips like music and the local stores. Generally, I think if you travel alone and don't want to cram into a 16-bed dorm, it's a good place to stay with abundant space and good host to talk with.   This place must be the best value in Reykjavik. I walked into my room and had a mini-jaw drop as I saw the quality of the furnishings, the comfortable bed, the NEWness of everything, and a well-stocked kitchenette. Breakfast is a tray of goodies - bread, jams, cheese. They also provide cartons of milk and orange juice that you are free to use up.... 别人怎么说 » Our kitchenette featured a sink, toaster, mini-fridge, and basic cooking equipment (pots and pans). The front desk staff is VERY nice and helpful. P - Everything was great - clean, spacious, comfortable, well-equipped (wifi in room, kitchen facilities, ipod dock), and the bath was lovely. The staff were friendly & helpful, dealing with some of my tourist queries including phone calls to local tour companies. The location is very central and you can walk to all shopping, bars, restaurants, harbour etc. Most tour companies pick up and drop off outside the hotel.
