  My dad and I visited Iceland in October of 2006. We'd originally intended to just drive through the country and find accommodations when we felt like we needed them. It quicky became apparent that wasn't going to work. We needed a "home bas" and Dad was adamant that he didn't want to stay in Reykiavik so we journeyed out a bit. I can tell you how... 别人怎么说 » we got to this town but we pulled into the local hotel. They were expensive and full but gave us the name of this place and another. When we arrive - The location was a 5 minute walk to the restaurants, and away from any noise. The price was very reasonable for the 3-bed self-contained apartment. Breakfast cost extra, but was generous and had a good variety. Wi-fi was included and worked very well. The apartment was comfortable and spacious - good size bathroom, lounge, dining, kitchenett and bedroom. The lady was very lovely and helpful. There was on-site parking. I highly recommend this for a relaxing stay.

  Staff was really friendly and I really loved the breakfast which consisted of many kinds of bread, cheese, ham, really good jams, skyr and their special pancakes! The room was clean, efficient and nice. Location is also awesome, so we drove through our own "golden circle" (which is not officially that because we didn't start from Reykjavik), but... 别人怎么说 » we saw all the main attractions (Gullfoss, Strokkur/Geysir, Thingvellir and Kerith-crater). I really recommend this place! - Good location to visit Golden Circle, great for seeing northern lights (if you're lucky) as there is very little light pollution. Two towns nearby for restaurants and your essentials. We had a lovely time, family was friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

  The location was a nice quiet farm-stay, 5 minute drive from restaurants. The price was reasonable. It cost extra for breakfast, but it was generous and with a good variety of food. Wi-fi is included, but you have to go into the main house. The 3-bed room was comfortable but not very spacious - just enough room. The room was nice and quiet. The lady was very lovely and help - Nice, quiet country atmosphere with lots of trees. Very good breakfasts. There are nice areas to sit and relax both indoors and out. A nice older sheepdog and two friendly cats add to the country feeling. Town is a 10 min. drive, and horsetback riding is just down the road. Overall, a very pleasant peaceful place.
