  First of all, Friðjòn, the manager, is super nice and attentive, real pleasure to deal with. The apartment is new and clean, tastefully decorated. The kitchen has everything you need (pots and pans, utensils etc). The balcony is spacious and the view from the bedroom is right to the harbor.   This place must be the best value in Reykjavik. I walked into my room and had a mini-jaw drop as I saw the quality of the furnishings, the comfortable bed, the NEWness of everything, and a well-stocked kitchenette. Breakfast is a tray of goodies - bread, jams, cheese. The front desk staff is VERY nice and helpful. P - Everything was great - clean, spacious, comfortable, well-equipped (wifi in room, kitchen facilities, ipod dock), and the bath was lovely. The staff were friendly & helpful, dealing with some of my tourist queries including phone calls to local tour companies. The location is very central and you can walk to all shopping, bars, restaurants, harbour etc. Most tour companies pick up and drop off outside the hotel.

  Honestly, what's not to love about this hotel/apartment/suites? We fall in love with it the minute we walked in and was very sad when we had to leave. The location is great, very close to almost everything. Although, one thing I would like to mention, the road that it is currently sitting on being worked on. The breakfast was more than enough for 3 people, with delicious sourdough bread left hanging on your doorknob every morning. Goose down comforters and Icelandic wool blankets were really cosy. Good soundproofing muted the construction sounds which began at around 8 A.M.
