  the room was much nicer than i expected. we were staying the night whilst visiting alton towers which i wouldnt recommend as it was a long drive there haha. the hotel itself was lovely though. the room was really big and most importantly, clean! i would definately go back - The Stone House Hotel was ideally situated and easy to find, the staff were... vad folk säger » friendly, nicely furnished room, breakfast and evening meals were excellent, no complaints at all.   Hotel was very modern and clean. Rooms were a good size with a football theme. Lots of pictures and quotes from England teams and players around the hotel. Pool and gym were an added bonus. Had an amazing massage in the spa which I would highly recommend. Really nice buffet breakfast with a variety of options. Can wander around the whole site and see all the pitches and areas which are used by England - We had a fabulous stay overnight at this magnificent hotel! It is new, spacious and extremely well-appointed. The rooms and bathrooms have all mod-cons and more! The inter-connecting doors were useful with children next door. Wonderful countryside view. The lovely, clean swimming pool and spa are perfect to relax in after a day at Alton Towers (30-minute drive). Helpful staff, and a fantastic array at the hot & cold buffet breakfast. Highly recommended this for a tranquil break.

  Some of the staff were excellent and very obliging. The rooms were clean. Quite location no noise at night. Great for fitness as a well stocked gym and squash courts. A bit of a boys feel at the sports bar. Beauty facilities good and also hairdressers. I was given a very good free and concise workout on the slendertone machines, great bonus.   A wonderful little hotel which I would definitely recommend. The hospitality staff were fantastic. I travelled with my mother and sister for a break away, as my mother was having her 60th birthday but has been very unwell for the past year. After I booked, I spoke to the hospitality manager on the phone who recommended a change of room (to a groun... vad folk säger » d floor courtyard apartment) and restaurant from those requested, as my mother has mobility issues, and sorted that out without charging any extra. Wh - I absolutely loved everything about the hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, even to the point of meeting me at my car in the rain with a umbrella to escort me into the hotel. The room was beautiful and quaint, the breakfast was delicious, with lots of choice and again the service was very good. I would definitely recommend the hotel with its quaint additional touches. It's like stepping back in time. Luxury at an inexpensive price.

  Beautiful location, new, modern building. Fabulous pool, spacious, spotless, modern. Large Car Park,superb (free!!) full english breakfast. - Why pay for the hilton when you can stay in the same building for much less. TV was enormous.
