We stayed here whilst on a 2 day pass to Alton Towers. The guest house was located about 10 mins from the resort and was easy to find. Close to local shops/pubs/restaurants. The owners were lovely and friendly and cooked a really good breakfast. Rooms were spacious and clean. Good value for money. -

Informal atmosphere, warm welcome. Very friendly staff - nothing too much trouble. Excellent rooms, good size and beautifully decorated. Excellent shower in bathroom. Breakfast was an 'occasion' - wide choice, plentiful and main dish freshly cooked to order, served on Port Meirion crockery. Small swimming pool area - very pleasant! -

Staff - From when we first arrived the staff were so friending and attentive. The young guy behind the bar checked us in, booked a table in the restuarant, got us a round of drinks - awesome service. Our waitress was great she was so friendly and even stopped in to say bye on her way out.

Friendly helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble. Decor excellent, room comfortable, ambience welcoming and obviously popular. Evening menu was excellent and breakfast was good. We would recommend the Dog and Doublet and if travelling in that area we would hope to stay there again. Thank you to all the staff and Nathan but thankyou to Natalie in particular. She made us most welcome and paid attention to small details.

Very good accommodation. A lovely room with excellent en suite. We particularly liked the small kitchen available for our use, although we only used it for making cups of tea. It was well equipped and its contents were well thought out. Phil was a very pleasant and likeable host. Loved the animals.

We stayed at the premier inn tamworth to be close to drayton manor. It's so so close it took 5 mins in the car. The hotel was lovely, staff greeted us when we arrived which was about 11pm at night and they were really pleasant and helpful. Rooms were comfy and bathroom had lovely bath and a shower. We had breakfast which was an all you can eat and

The lady who greeted us at reception had a trainee receptionist with her and was very supportive with the trainee but also extremely welcoming with us. She spoke with our 2 children with warmth and interest and then found out it was our youngest child's birthday the following day. The next morning a birthday card was put under our door from the staff and at breakfast staff at the beefeater brought 2 balloons over to our boys! It was a really nice touch and we very much appreciated it. Thank you

Hotel was very modern and clean. Rooms were a good size with a football theme. Lots of pictures and quotes from England teams and players around the hotel. Pool and gym were an added bonus. Had an amazing massage in the spa which I would highly recommend. Really nice buffet breakfast with a variety of options.

We had a fabulous stay overnight at this magnificent hotel! It is new, spacious and extremely well-appointed. The rooms and bathrooms have all mod-cons and more! The inter-connecting doors were useful with children next door. Wonderful countryside view. The lovely, clean swimming pool and spa are perfect to relax in after a day at Alton Towers (30-minute drive). Helpful staff, and a fantastic array at the hot & cold buffet breakfast. Highly recommended this for a tranquil break.

Ability to book up easily and be looked after efficiently. We only stayed one night after a wedding reception near by and were able to access town easily leaving car safely. We have been once in a group before on a Christmas do and were pleased our stay was as satisfying. thankyou for a good nights rest and excellent breakfast.x -

hotel was nice and clean.i liked the fact that the family room was on the ground floor which was a huge help esp. with the children and the push chair. loved the fact that they had a restaurant as part of the hotel in a separate building serving great food at great prices. staff esp. one in particular - sorry didn't take his name but a real asset

The staff were amazingly helpful as we were travelling with young children we had a few issues to get through but we were made to feel welcome from the first minute. The rooms were clean and well maintained, beds were comfortable and room temperature bathrooms etc very clean.They made every effort to make us comfortable and this went a long way to making our trip to the nearby theme park more enjoyable.

Nice free parking right on site and a short period of free WiFi enough just to check e-mails.
