Torquay Hotell

Walnut Lodge definitely lived up to the reviews. Very warm welcoming informative and helpful owners. Newly decorated and immaculately clean place, in a quiet tree lined street. All mod cons. Flat screen TV and nice toiletries. Felt like a small hotel not a bandb. We had very relaxing stay. Would definitely stay there again. - Rachel

Prior to our stay all our questions were answered fully by emails from the proprietors. When we arrived we were very impressed by the ambience and feel of the hotel. Our stay was enhanced by the friendly, helpful and efficient proprietors, the massive comfortable bed in a delightfully airy, clean room, not to mention the most marvellous breakfasts. Despite poor weather that put paid to our weekend golfing break, we still had a great time in Torquay. Janet and Andrew both made us feel extremely welcome and couldn't do enough for us. Would definitely recommend anyone staying in Torquay to look them up. - Steve

Everything! The couple who own the Hotel made me feel very welcome. The Hotel is lovely, my room was immaculate and breakfast was great. Its in a fantastic location for the Torbay area and walking distance from Torre station. I have stayed in several hotels and would easily say this is nicest place I have stayed for the price. - John

It was a pleasure to stay at the Linden House. My partner and I were made so welcome from the start and made to feel like special guests. the bedroom was delightful in all respects and the home made full English breakfast was of 5 star quality. I could not fault the service at this lovely guest house. I must go on to say that Linden House is a higher standard than most 3 to 4 star hotels. - Stuart

I was really impressed with Hotel Gleneagles. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I was upgraded to a very comfortable room with a balcony on arrival. I was travelling on my own and the hotel catered for all my needs. Evening meal was exceptional and breakfast was very good too. Will return next time I am in Torquay. - Anonymous

Everything. The rooms were beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The location was superb and the breakfasts stunning - fruit, yoghurt, cereal, muffins, followed by a wondeful full English. The hosts - Keith and Sandra - were fantastic. I can't speak highly enough of them. They gave us a wonderfully warm welcome and were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We were extremely impressed with the room in which we stayed. Our 19 month old daughter was given a lovely cot to sleep in, our sheets were always turned down by the time we got back at night and mints on our pillows-you cant get better than that! Our bathroom was extremely clean and we were provided with wonderful little shampoos and body lotion etc. Best place we have ever stayed!!! - Lauren
