  The staff were exceptional, particularly the reception staff and the concierge. I thoroughly enjoyed the variety of artwork on display, including the motorbikes - some pieces were outstanding. Being in the heart of the city was a huge plus for exploring on foot. The balcony was a great surprise that I wasn't expecting.   Location is great, walking distance to centre city, we were on the 22nd floor and had a view over the city and water. Room was serviced daily, although it was small it had everything we needed, including a microwave oven. When booking, I had requested having a room near family that had booked separately, and I had a phone call to confirm that was... wat mensen zeggen » no problem, and we did end up a few doors away from each other, very happy with that. We arrived early on the first day, and could go straight to ou - Good location, everything functioned well, clean, helpful no-frills front desk. We did not use restaurant facilities. Anyone considering booking should note that taxis drop off and pick up in Gilmer Tce, which is level with 7th floor reception, walk along well lit underground carpark. Take lift to ground level, then walk down Plimmer Steps to get to Lambton Quay. Lift does not go right down to street level.

  The room was wonderful with cooking facilities if required and was comfortable. The Air Con was a blessing ! The restuarant was superb and I enjoyed the best T-Bone steak I had ever eaten. Service was really great as well. The Hotel is close to central City shops and Victoria University, Te Papa and I'll be making a point of staying there again on... wat mensen zeggen » my next trip. My family enjoyed their stay very much. Staff were great and went out of their way to help. - The staff were excellent, we loved the CBD location with flat walk to just about anywhere in the CBD. Close to the sea front, train station and many tourist attractions. Really good restaurant with excellent menu. Great room, very comfortable bed, well equipped bathroom, full mini-bar and stunning views across the CBD from our room. Really enjoyed our stay and will be back again.

  I booked two rooms for myself, my daughter and her bridesmaids to go wedding dress shopping in Wellington. The staff were friendly and efficient upon arrival. Rooms were large and clean and very nicely presented. Although we had a car with us, we used the valet parking option and left the car at the hotel while we walked to all the wedding shops -... wat mensen zeggen » very handy location for tourist activities, shops and waterfront. During our very short stay we had to get the car out of parking twice to pick bride - Staff were very friendly and helpful, finding out information for us. Location was great, very handy for Te Papa museum and easy walking distance to the harbour front and also to restaurants, shops etc nearby. Room seemed newly decorated and was clean, comfortable and spacious. Would definitely stay there if in Wellington again!
