After being delayed by weather and airlines for 2 days, we arrived at the Copthorne quite tired, frustrated and disappointed that our three night stay had been reduced to just one night. Thankyou to your staff that night.We arrived in from Sydny after 1 am without our bags and only the cloths we were wearing. We had a 8 am departure that morning and they kindly arranged for our cloths to be washed and ready by 6 am.
Nothing was too much trouble and they definately "went the extra yard"
Our thanks to them again.

The staff were exceptional, particularly the reception staff and the concierge. I thoroughly enjoyed the variety of artwork on display, including the motorbikes - some pieces were outstanding. Being in the heart of the city was a huge plus for exploring on foot. The balcony was a great surprise that I wasn't expecting. My bed was very comfortable.

Great location, only a few minutes walk from the city. Good parking, even though it costs extra. The room was basic but clean and what you would expect. The bed was good and it was quiet as we were in a room facing the carpark. -

Close walking distance to Lambton Quay and Cuba St. We had a carpark that we could use. A sheltered smoking area. A dairy almost directly across the road with another one a little further. Plus there was supermarket further down the road, all of which were convenient for those pesky little grocery top ups. The staff were helpful and friendly. Good price, good location, good service.

Good location, everything functioned well, clean, helpful no-frills front desk. We did not use restaurant facilities.
Anyone considering booking should note that taxis drop off and pick up in Gilmer Tce, which is level with 7th floor reception, walk along well lit underground carpark. Take lift to ground level, then walk down Plimmer Steps to get to Lambton Quay. Lift does not go right down to street level.

I stayed here solo for a week while on business - this time I brought my husband with me as I really wanted him to see it.
The bed was so comfortable!! The location is outstanding, the price was very affordable, and the staff are fantastic - always friendly and helpful.

Very good location. Clean with great showers and comfortable beds. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A nice enough kitchen for my needs. I found my bed in a hostel style room to be quiet by city standards. Most people seem to go out to party but the atmosphere is still good.

We liked everything about this hotel. We were upgraded to a large,
beautifully appointed room, in keeping with the 1920s period in which
the hotel was built. Everything was lovely including cups and saucers.
We had a large bathroom, including bath with claw legs and twin basins.
TBreakfast and lunch in the restaurant were excellent. Staff were very
helpful.We recommend this hotel highly.

The room was well appointed, with comfortable Queen size bed, tea/coffee, and mini bar, walk in shower. Very quiet.
Wonderful full breakfast, with great service. Nice selection of fresh fruit too.

We were very happy with the apartment accommodation for our second night - thank you. Your bar staff are great - the young man bartender was professional and very good and the young lady serving snacks had a very nice approach to guests.

The Staff were very friendly and helpful. The reception were friendly on arrival and there was nothing which was too much trouble. The charm of staying at a real pub cannot be denied, especially coming from the U.S.. The staff was uniformly excellent, especially waiting up for us after our very late-night arrival. We stayed in a King Suite that was not directly over the pub, so had no issues with noise. The room was huge and included a very romantic 4-poster canopy bed.

The attitude of the staff was so pro-actively helpful. Manny in particular' went out of his way to be of help.Superb location for the ferry to South Island.
A really nice 'pub' atmosphere, the room quaintly colonial, bedding and linen,towels etc immaculately clean. Really comfy bed! Loved the place!

It provides a luxurious experience, while being close to the heart of beautiful Wellington. I cant wait to book again! -
