  Went here for my annivesary. THe staff were professional and friendly. They didn't have the room I booked so they upgraded me to a two bedroom superior suite. The suite was clean and it had to balconies. The bathroom was lovely, and the bath was a lovely bonus. The location was great, central to Courtnay Pl; went to Te Papa and the embassy. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the staff made our stay welcoming, relaxing and ensured they knew our names for that extra personal touch. We would definitely rebook this facility in the near future and have recommended Distinction to our friends and family.

  After being delayed by weather and airlines for 2 days, we arrived at the Copthorne quite tired, frustrated and disappointed that our three night stay had been reduced to just one night. This was meant to be the first stop on our honeymoon and as such had booked a harbour view room. As soon as we entered the building, we were greeted by Kenny, who turned out to be the Duty Manage - Thankyou to your staff that night.We arrived in from Sydny after 1 am without our bags and only the cloths we were wearing. We had a 8 am departure that morning and they kindly arranged for our cloths to be washed and ready by 6 am. Nothing was too much trouble and they definately "went the extra yard" Our thanks to them again.

  The staff were exceptional, particularly the reception staff and the concierge. I thoroughly enjoyed the variety of artwork on display, including the motorbikes - some pieces were outstanding. Being in the heart of the city was a huge plus for exploring on foot. The balcony was a great surprise that I wasn't expecting.   Great location easy walk to Lambton Quay and other quality shops, bars, restaurants, Courtney Pl. An easy 15min walk to stadium we were in Wellington to watch Warriors vs Bulldogs game. Accommodation was excellent everything we needed in our apartment which was well suited for 4 guests. Staff very accommodating allowing us late checkout which was ... wat mensen zeggen » great as we had a late flight. They stored our baggage whilst we went sight seeing. And called us a cab to airport when we collected our baggage well - The lady at front desk was friendly and helpful. We had trouble getting the tv to work, she explained and also offered to come to room and get it working. Also my daughter accidently dropped her ipod by lift which was found by permanent apt man, who phd us to arrange getting back to us - very honest and appreciated!

  We absolutely loved our stay at The Museum Hotel and didn't want to leave. I read so many varying reviews on the hotel before making the booking and after staying here can confidently say that it was one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. I don't know what other people can complain about. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Great for - I thought the place was fabulous! My 11 year old and 17 year old were very happy and comfortable too! The location is excellent and we made use of the cafe and proximity to the museum and courtney place buses and eateries! Would definitely stay here again and even my husband enjoyed viewing all the various art works. 9.5/10

  Iorn, the great heater, comfort, great bed, was able to sleep all night, quiet even though we were in the middle of town. Also, despite the very central location, my room was very quiet. The staff are the biggest asset to this hotel, they were so professional and friendly and no matter what time I left my room or what time I returned, it was always serviced upon my return.

  The room was wonderful with cooking facilities if required and was comfortable. The Air Con was a blessing ! The restuarant was superb and I enjoyed the best T-Bone steak I had ever eaten. My family enjoyed their stay very much. Staff were great and went out of their way to help. - The staff were excellent, we loved the CBD location with flat walk to just about anywhere in the CBD. Close to the sea front, train station and many tourist attractions. Really good restaurant with excellent menu. Great room, very comfortable bed, well equipped bathroom, full mini-bar and stunning views across the CBD from our room. Really enjoyed our stay and will be back again.

  letsbookhotel.com said it had taken my full payment at the time of booking. The hotel didn't actually claim that payment which resulted in a dispute on departure when I rightfully said I'd paid.
