Everything, staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was very clean and well decorated. Food in the lodge was well priced and very enjoyable. Would recommend and would definitely stay again, hope to next year - Large, modern room and bathroom with wide screen HD TV and Free-view. In a quiet location but god access to a major route.

Friendly folk running the inn. The atmosphere was relaxed, easy going chique and thoughtful. Our bedroom & ensuite was cosy clean and the bed was comfy- lovely decor; so far removed from the buildings original use as a stable/ skittle alley! I'm sure it could tell some tales! The inn is in the middle of the village, and so wonderfully peaceful

What a friendly comfortable place to stay. Beautiful room, with nothing missing - excellent bar - fantastic food - both dinner and breakfast outstanding. Friendly locals. Ideal for us, far enough away from Taunton to be on our own but close enough for a short drive to the cricket. If you're coming to watch Somerset or for the ECB youth programme at Kings - consider staying here.

What a lovely home! I was made to feel welcome on arrival and was looked after until the time I left. It was ideal for me travelling solo, but, having seen the other doubles, I am sure my wife would have appreciated the comfortable surroundings. A clean, comfortable B&B. We really appreciated the friendliness of Hugh and Jenny who went out of their way to make us feel at home. A good traditional breakfast. Overall, an extremely good place to stay which we recommend.

The close proximity of the Premier Inn building to the Airfield Tavern
where we ate although if it had been raining we would have been soaked
walking to and from the restaurant. -
Excellent staff, especially Keri Anne, who could not do enough for us. Also the food room service, and the staff at breakfast. Cannot commend them too highly.

For what we needed it was great, convenient location and easily accessible. Reception staff always happy to help with enquiries. Rooms clean and airy and what you'd expect at a premier stay. -

The staff were brilliant and added to a very pleasant weekend. I forgot to pack my tie and with seconds to spare they found one for me which was even in the regimental colours. They were lovely girls. Taunton is a very friendly and lovely place. -

Hotel had. Popular named Pub next door, other eateries were near by,
good food menu, with a good price range. 10 mins walk from the old town
and the harbour very close. We had a four hours walking around sight
seeing. We hope to see Portishead again next year. Plenty of walking I

Central seafront location, good food, ( we only stayed b&b though), quiet at night despite location. Caters for ( but not exclusively for) the partially- sighted, but all were made very welcome. Free parking on site, and very helpful and friendly staff. Five minutes amble to the town centre shops, and the beach and new Pier were over the road.

My stay was peaceful comfortable and a total pleasure. All staff are very friendly and the hotel has real character. My room was clean and the bathroom was lovely and breakfast was good. The location is perfect and the hotel is clearly a gem for those short breaks and even long stays. Just remember this is a 3 star real hotel with a 5 star staff who are really what makes this place such a pleasure to stay at. I look forward to going back again and again and strongly suggest you try this lovely

Hotel staff were very friendly and most helpful. The lift had broken so the staff insisted on helping carry our bags from the car (I am disabled through spinal injuries so not able to carry) up the stairs to the room. The room and beds were comfortable and we got a good night's sleep. Breakfast was good providing you didn't have the scrambled eggs

We liked the whole package really, the Hotel is very convenient for Wells, with a bus stop outside the door!!! As parking is horrendous, as is the driving within the City, this is most useful, with connections to Bath etc.
Everyone at the Hotel was friendly and very helpful, the food in the Bistro was good and reasonably priced.
We thoroughly enjoyed our two days there, and would definitely return. Definitely good value.
