A very nice place perfectly located in the center of S.Francisco. Transportation is very convinient, including Airport transfer - just 10 min from BART (local Subway) Powell station, directly connecting location with SFO (35 min to Terminal 3). Employees are very friendly, ready to help even in non-standard situations.Hotel is superb in terms of design, rooms are big and comfortable.A bit costly place, but if you like comfort - choose it.
all reviews » The suit was fantastic, spacious , clean, comfortable, and very suitable for family. The location was excellent, near all the important shops. The staff were extremely friendly and kind. I will carry a beautiful memory with me. The concierge was especially helpful when we wanted to book a private wine tour at the last minute. Arrangements were perfect! Lunches in the dining room were fresh, healthy and delicious. Exercise room more than adequate. It's amazing hotel located in a walking distance from everything: 1 min to big bus tours station 2 min to shopping area And the staff are helpful and always welcome you with a smile. I like the location - it was near Union Square, but away from all the foot traffic, tourists, and noise. The rooms were spacious and the doormen/valet were very friendly. Location is great. In-house restaurant is very good. Concierge is very helpful. The room is clean. Love how the coffee accouterments are easy and clearly sanitary. This hotel was so beautiful, the location and facilities are impeccable, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, I can't fault it. After transferring from another hotel unhappy we were very happy with the friendly staff and ability to provide us with early check in. It was really great ! Location. 15 minutes nearby is, let me put it softly, not a very nice area with not-always-friendly guys (favela-style). If not visiting it - everething is OK, despite there is no really serious personal security threats (I passed through it with no problem). The coffee was expensive. I saw some holes in the curtains. No microwave. No door to the toilet stall. The room itself is very roomy, and would have liked a table, chairs near the window end. A shuttle to and from SFO would be nice. It is quite expensive. I think the roof Terence should be open to all guests of the hotel and should be made into a restaurant and sell the idea to the guests to use it and you could put the prices up because ov the view you have of the city. 1) Morning cleaners are a bit annoying: they come around 10 am do not hear "hey I'm fine please don't come" 2) concierge staff is overall helpful but missed to wake me at the morning when I asked too 3) paid internet in the room was disappointing. Too few check-in / check-out staff The price of the Valet Parking was exaggerated The credit card was charged at every purchase instead of one final charge after check-out. Room was small. Would have been nice to have robes if the hotel is considered to be a 4 star hotel. Inconvenient to only have 1 ice machine for the whole hotel. Shower was too small. Staff in restaurant/ lobby in attentive. Internet issues (slow). Pricey, but...location, location, location and very, very nice. No view, and I paid for one!. Noise isolation is poor. Outside noise (mainly roaring of machines, probably external units of air conditioners on top of buildings nearby) is disturbing during the night even when windows are closed. No outside sink/mirror from bathroom makes it difficult for four people to get ready in a short time. Weird pipe where shower used to be (now separate tub and shower) sprays water when running bath. That plus no sower curtain around tub means strategic placement of items you don't want to get wet and having to waste towels so that you're not spending time cleaning up. Solo sink. No fridge. Very expensive parking. No free WiFi in the room. parking and entrance difficult. The bed was too soft, causing backache. No free internet and parking coas 50 dollas per day. expensive valet parking. access to WIFI. Price. Lousy food. the buffet needs to be revised. the way to get to the hotel by car. price tag. Valet parking cost almost as much as the hotel room. small bed. it is only 3 star hotel. housekeeping - only if you call!! Usually cleaning apox. at 3-4 p.m. The curtains are torn! Shower room too small. I can't suggest to friends to stay in this hotel.. The sofa bed in the 'Junior Suite' ...how can two adults sleep on that. False advertising using different pictures on letsbookhotel.com. When we asked for availability for two double beds staff told us we should go on the website to check the rooms as they could not show us this. The most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. I have never never stayed in a hotel where they cant show you the rooms you want to upgrade to. Clerk is not friendly and room is small.
