Fairfield Inn is an excellent hotel located in Mag Mile (n Michigan Ave) district. It is staff thei friendliness, their ability to deal with several guests, respond to you calmly and warmly that gives a full Chicago experience. Bedroom is very comfortable and clean. Breakfast is amazing for a continental style (freshly baked waffles, hot toast, coffee, chocolate, fruits, oatmeal, etc). There are three available computers in the lobby and a printer. It is super easy to head to Michigan ave, cta .
all reviews » Loved it! Stylish hotel, modern, clean room. Phenomenal service from all hotel staff- the front desk personnel were particularly friendly and helpful. Provided me with an umbrella as I forgot mine, delivered map quest directions to my room the morning of my conference, as I wasn't sure about the location of the conference center. Breakfast was good, and free wireless was included in the room- contrary to information provided by letsbookhotel.com. Highly recommend!. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, with all sights within walking distance, restaurants and shops just around the corner. The room was clean and nicely furnished, and quite spacious as well. I can definitely recommend staying at this Hotel if you travel to Chicago for a few days and want to make the most of it!. My teenage daughter and I went here for a weekend getaway, our room was very nice, spacious and clean. The breakfast was good and it was nice to not have to leave the hotel right away in the morning. The people working the front desk were awesome, very helpful and accommodating! Will definitely stay here again!. The man who met us in the night was extremely friendly and nice. The hotel was slightly cheaper than the vast majority of other hotels we could find within a week of the arrival date. We needed to get to airport for flight. Your Doorman worked very hard, but I would have thought that your hotel would have a quicker way get taxi cabs for guests. The mattress of the sofa bed was not very comfortable. They immediately pick up from my credit card the all amount of the stay ,of me and my friends, + 20$ per day for each guests (more than 2'200$) without telling me it about it. Unfortunately I reached the limit charge of my credit card and so I ran out of money after few hours in Chicago!. Prefer to have kettle in room rather than coffee machine Air con noisy - would like to have been able to switch it off. Hvac so noisy. Rooftops view unfortunate. Concierge didn't try very hard to find something to do on Monday or Tuesday night. No Where magazine. Doormen weren't busy and could have shoveled snow from front of hotel. No safe. Lower rooms over the Air Con unit which can be v noisy, especially at night. Stayed in a king suite but room was very small. I felt like I was staying in a closet - very closed in and stuffy. TV remote was horrible. Had to change channels/volume on the tv and it seemed the volume was capped at a certain point. I have some hearing loss so I couldn't hear the TV when I was trying to watch it. The parking fee was high but expected in downtown Chicago. One day our room didn't he cleaned until 5:00 pm and only after I spoke to the front desk. breakfast buffet produces a lot of plastic waste. Beds and a room were quite small. Would have liked thicker blankets on the bed. I can't think of anything!. Noise of traffic - but street front best, away from air conditioners at back. Breakfast poor: needed fresh-squeezed juice; newly-baked bread; interesting meusli!. Parking an issue and very expensive especially if staying more than one night. The carpets could do with a good shampooing in room 505. A little pricey for the size of the room, but aren't all hotels in Chicago? I feel we could stay many more days or visit Chicago more often if room rates were a little less expensive. would have preferred queen size bed vs double. would have liked a pool/hot tub. We had to leave. The pull out sofa bed was uncomfortable. The view from our window. Whatchya gonnado?. Breakfast is boring. I had the same food during five days of my stay. More important is that all untesils, fork, spoon and plates are plastic. The hotel must be more concerned about these wastes that are harmful to environment. We were told our room had a sitting area and it didn't. Price slightly high for us. It could use a bar in the hotel for people staying there to relax and have a cocktail. He rooms could use a mini fridge in them. Nothing. No complaints. Would stay at the hotel again. Lack of pool. Needed new remote and fridge and microwave which we requested from front desk staff and never got. Would not allow us to have luggage cart for a few minutes while we did our last minute organizing. We had to be ready then and there or have him come back in 10 minutes. outside noise (traffic, noisy people). could hear everything clearly.
