Was close to where we wanted to be and had a good view of the city. Comfortable place to stay, bed and pillows where nice and soft. After the fist room that was not clean they did move us promptly to a new room that was nice and clean. The staff did take care of us. The staff was amazing workers were very helpful always there is more than one person to help the location was perfect all important places were in walking distance love it and do not mind to go back again and again.

Wished that I remembered his name. I love the staff, the location, and the design of the rooms. It was a beautiful hotel and everyone is very friendly. The rooms were exceptionally clean and we had a fantastic time. The staff are awesome and very helpful, it's located in great spot near to almost all attractions, restaurants and shops. It is realy great place to stay in as long as you want. Worth paying for the convenient location. Very comfortable room, nice pool (which is a bit heated, so ok in coler weather). Warm cookies on arrival and at the desk on request. The concierge service was excellent, We got help and advice, no matter what we asked about. Very, very friendly service, Also the coffee voicher. That was a win, win!. Gloria, the lady who cleaned our room, did an excellent job. The concierge services were also excellent. In fact, all staff were friendly and helpful. Good location for our plans which was a one night stay to celebrate our 15th year wedding anniversary. Dinner at Capital Grille and walking downtown. Location and rooms were really nice. I have no complaints at all from the Blue Tree and recomend the staying there. Cookie and all the staff were the BEST. Your cookies were great also. Thanks and yes we would stay there again. "View of lake" is very partial, but good though. From our room you could see a skyscraper in construction - some would consider it a view of a building site, but we thought it was exciting!!. N/A. Parking garage, price for parking. Nothing was done to acknowledge our anniversary...not that we were expecting anything however Capital Grille acknowledged by rose petals on our table, dessert, champagne and a photo. the beds sagged in the middle. All was good. We found a ton of double bubble wrappers under the beds that were not from us and what looked like a water bottle full of urine in a hide-away spot. The price was a little much. Parking was expensive. I wish there was a bit of a break on the cost of parking as long as you are a guest at the hotel. I paid 45.00 for 18 hours of parking and the public pays 45.00 for up to 24 hours of parking....same price. Poor WiFi reception and it was NOT included in room price....Self parking very expensive for hotel guests....Poor TV system with few channels and a worn out remote. What is sold as a Lakeview room is not what I expected...Yes,I could see the lake but...parking lot roof and construction blocking almost all of the Lakeview I paid extra for. nothing really. Parking cost - would be nice to have a discounted rate if you're actually staying at the hotel. The parking lot was creepy and it was difficult to find the correct stairwell that led to elevator to lobby. We parked on A upeer level and there was a door leading to a staircase that went nowhere. I was alone with my 10 year old daughter and it was a little creepy. Parking overnight was FORTY-SEVEN DOLLARS!! Even in New York City, it's only $25. No real complaints. No safe in room, however there is a place at reception to keep your valuables. It does mean having to go in and out of office each day though. Nothing. The beds and pillows aren't what I expect from DoubleTree, and having to pay for internet always stings. Rooms are small an need updated...the back side that faces hospital is noisey with sirens all the time..would prefer to stay facing Ohio street.. No continental breakfast. Really nothing. No opportunity to use fridge for medicine storage. Lifts - only two were working and hotel was full Paying for wifi. Paying $45 for parking. Wireless internet rates are ridiculous - for the amount of money spent on a stay at the hotel, price should be reduced or complimentary regardless of HHonors status. Pool could use some items to provide a little shade. Car park charges very high considering it was owned by the hotel. We were given a room with two queens when we reserved a king. Also, after we were moved to a king room, it was next to the elevators and the room key did not work the following morning. We had noisy plumbing and had to move rooms. Elevators slow. 45 dollars a day to park was a little hard to swallow.
