stayed at the hotel last year would not go anywhere else the staff are second to none very friendly great communication with their guests food was excellent and the owner julie as ever was so helpful and greeted us as soon as we walked in she made sure our stay was most enjoyable.Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in blackpool great location close to the shops and promenade and car park at the rear of the hotel if full a 24hr security car park is right across the road v.
all reviews » The staff firtst and foremost, Julie the manager is the friendliest person you could ever meet and the staff are very frienldy too, you are made to feel welcome from start to finish which makes your holiday go smoothly and you go away very happy, this is the second time me and my husband have stayed and it was our wedding anniversary and my husbands birthday, we got cards and cake from the manager our little flower and would highly recommend it to anyone. :) :) :). We stayed at the sister hotel, Lawton, and found the hotel very nice. The bar area was very clean and welcoming. The decor was very nicely done in the stairs and corridors. In the room it was nice to have Blinds as well as thick curtains to block out the light. The wet room was a great idea as usualy you get a small shower that you can't move in and water goes every where Nice to be able to park at the hotel. Brilliant we are both in our 40's and went with my parents who are 60 and 70.from check in with the lovely Julie til check out was great, rooms large and clean, breakfast hot yummy and plentiful,Julie was always very helpful and a right laugh, parents and I both took business cards as we will be back, easy 10 mins slow walk to tower, and parking, not much more you need. I have visited blackpool for over 40 yrs, stopping in many b+b's / hotels, this is the only one I keep returning to. lots of parking spaces, very helpfull staff, VALUE FOR MONEY in commparison to other hotel/b+b's, very much recommend this hotel. 6/7 minutes walk from town centre, yet far enough away so not to be disturbed by noisey clubs/pubs. Great place. Very friendly helpful staff and the bar was very well stocked with everything a guest may ask for at very good prices. Ample guest parking. Great full breakfast. In all an excellent mid priced hotel. Very clean in all parts of the hotel. rooms are adequate not posh but nice and clean. Definitely use this hotel again. The curtains in the room are in need of sorting out, hooks not all on the rail etc. The wet room was very nicely done out, tiles, clean shower curtain but it was a shem that the ceiling tiles were badly stained and the shower rail was very rusty. Not a big thing, but we were not given the option to purchase food through letsbookhotel.com, if we had known would definately have booked evening meals cause the restaurant was beautiful and clean and if anything like the breakfast we knew we would have been eating quality food. Can't complain. Nothing really. Nothing. No entertainment at night but did have a well stocked bar,and loung. if anyone complains about anything there is something wrong with them. The Doors banging at 5am by individuals coming back from town. But this was not the fault of the Hotel,. there wasn'T any negatives. The room is a bit small for us & bed quite uncomfortable, coz can feel the spring when u lie down. When we came back from a full day out we asked for a cup of tea before we went to our room,the gentleman at the reception was very uprupt about it was'nt very happy at all.also the mattresses were very uncomfortable, springs were poking in my back,should invest in new ones.Also the flush in the toilet was'nt working properly, and came off in my hand,reported this to reception but there was no maintenence man there so we had to flush the toilet by lifting off the top off. nothing not to like. Although the hotel was clean and staff great bedrooms very spacious but basic. Dated furniture, and uncomfortable bed. some signs of unfinished works(?). Breakfast (included in price) average quality. Bed was uncomfortable could feel the mattress springs. Banging of doors late at night/early morning. Nothing. More shelves in the bathroom would be nice !. nothing. Bed was a bit firm. Nothing to complain about. nothing. nothing. Nothing. Unfortunately had a really "loud" group of guests which spoilt things a bit but this was'nt any fault of the hotel. the rooms proximity to the carpark. Being woke up at 5 in the morning by noisy guests. Nothing. Tired and dated, needs an uplift and a lick of paint in some areas.
