On arrival i was made to feel very welcome by the lady at the check in desk. Once in my room i had clean bed linen,towels etc (after reading reviews i was worried about this) myself and my family were welcomed by the barman and he did his best to please everyone in the hotel. location was excellent. People moaned about breakfast jam tea coffee and juice, i cant see the problem. The room was spacious and clean, ok basic but for 17.50 what do you expect! The staff were friendly and they had a great bar area. The bathroom was really clean and the hotel was a very good size and close to the town centre. Any noise was dealt with quickly very well managed hotel. Best I have stayed at in Blackpool.
all reviews » The staff are so friendly, helpful and will try and accomadate you. The staff are also very polite and friendly. The hotel is not 4 or 5 starts so guests should not expect the Ritz . It is close to all amenities and transport links. The staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. The man behind the desk at check in even assembled and made up 2 travel cots for us too. The location is also brilliant!! Great value for money hotel! We will be back!. Its a case of dont judge a book by its cover . . . This is a great hotel and good value the breakfast was generous an the rooms were clean with a location that was on the doorstep of all blackpool had to offer. I work in Blackpool and was staying over for the night. I was greeted by a very friendly manager/Barman/Receptionist. The Room was Clean and Warm. The bed was comfortable and the Shower was hot and powerful. It is a fantastic hotel with fantastic staff. It is the best hotel that I have stayed in, in Blackpool and this is the hotel I will be going straight to in the future. Brilliant friendly helpful staff!!. Bedding and towels clean and fresh as was the room, staff excellent and efficient, great bar area, there is a family end to the hotel and very good value for the money, breakfast great as well. The staff were very welcoming, The room was a lot better than we expected for the price we paid all clean, cheap bar and walking distance to town which was a plus side! I would recommend :). Everything staff cant do enough they are always pleasant room clean & smelt very fresh, bed comfortable, breakfast good been a few times this year will see you 28 December cant wait. The location is first class, the hotel is very conveniently placed for town centre, prom and public transport. I thought it was slightly strange about leaving your key each time that you go out of reception, I think they should look into having two keys for security reasons as I didnt feel comfortable with this at all. Also I didnt like how they didnt tell us why they took our identification and this should be clearly explained. Overall I would stay again though. N/a. Maybe the place could do with a touch of paint but great value for money. Breakfast was at 8 so I missed it which was a little dissapointing. Needs refurbishment in some areas. nothing. Hard to park car had to go to chanrley street but was reasonably priced. Breakfast is only served till 9.30, and isn't that nice! The rooms are very basis and a bit tired looking but we were only sleeping in it so it didnt matter. I dident like the fact that the bar closed at 7pm after a long day a quiet drink would of been nice in the hotel. I don't think I would stay here with the children again as the walls r very thin so kids were awake half of the night and couldn't drown out any noice with the tv as it didn't work but this hotel would be ideal for stag/hen party's would defo come back with friends :). My room No 37 left a lot to be desired, the bit of furniture that was in the room was in a very poor state. The décor was in an even worse state. In all the condition of the room was extremely shabby. And also the toilet would not flush properly the water backed up into the bowl and took a fair while to empty, this I reported to the staff. there was not anything that we did not like. Very small room and tiny window. Can be stuffy. Nothing. It was extremely cold throughout the hotel, once radiator was turned up it did take a while to heat the small room but once heated it was a more comfortable stay. There was nothing I didn't like.... nothing. Rooms could do with updating maybe. If you want the Hilton pay for it!. Room was a bit small. Decor could do with a bit of a revamp and our room was very small with the bathroom door banging on a bedside cabinet everytime it was opened and the wardrobe was awkward to reach should really be a single room. no parking but thers a few around after a five minute walk.it is continetal breakfast but you can pay three pounds for full english doesnt say on site it just says breakfast included. nothing. nothing. Nothing. hotel does look a little 'tired' but for the price you pay its great value.could do with a bedside light instead of just the main light. nothing. nothing the hotel was basic but that was what we were looking for. I did like nothing about the hotel. the bed was a bouncy castle on wheels! after a few drinks you dont really notice when you return from the night out. Bar closing early on weekdays. could only get one channel on the tv. the beds/mattresses wasnt very comfy. Under the beds was very dusty and the room was quite dirty. Also the check in time of 2pm. Royal Vincent is almost opposite Coral Island right in the heart of Blackpool - no sleep all night with gangs of lads shouting and fighting on the main streets outside the hotel. Our window wouldnt shut properly.would be freezing in winter.only 1 curtain but 2 windows.we should have had a double bed.got 2 singles and were very uncomfortable.
