  The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, with nothing being too much trouble. The unit we stayed in was extremely well presented with some really nice personal touches added. Was also right across the road from Countdown (grocery shop) which was a big bonus. - Waiora Apartments was set in a lovely peaceful bush setting, lovely timber with lovely bed upstairs, clean and tidy. Downstairs was okay but only for sleeping really not a space you would want to have to stay in for a long time. I loved the calm and peaceful feeling of this place.

  On arrival it was raining so we were sitting in the car waiting for it to pass over. They came out with umbrellas so we didn't get wet. They were very friendly and did everything they could to make our stay pleasant. I am fussy about cleanliness but the place was spotless. We had an ocean view apartment and it was fabulous. Very clean and tidy, good facilities, welcoming host. All good. Its near the treaty grounds in one direction and the shops/cafes in the other. But mostly I just love that they found my tablet charger before I even knew I had lost it, and posted it on really quickly.

  Very spacious one bedroom apartment, great facilities and very clean. On Beachfront with an easy flat walk to Bay of Islands Boat tours and shops and the excellent 'Alfresco' Restaurant next door. Also great having undercover secure car parking facilities. Walking distance to all amenities & great restaurants close by. And the beach across the road. We would definitely stay here again, apartments are great for families also.

  The Swish Chalet is a comfortable, clean and friendly place to stay. We had a spacious room with sofa and kitchenette and a balcony (with flowers, just like a Swiss Chalet!) It doesn't have a lake view but does have outside space and the lake is just across the road with plenty of eateries within a few minutes walk. We stayed two nights and loved it. - The whole experience was fantastic, I was there for a few days with my work, I wanted a small motel that was clean, quiet, in a good location at a reasonable price. I feel that I got that and much more, very friendly owners who went the extra mile, under cover parking, super fast wi-fi which was spot on and I took the continental breakfast option for only $10 extra, well worth it, well done, see you next time!

  Mike gave us a warm welcome on arrival, and he volunteered to drive us into town one morning. The view from the room is spectacular, facing east into the rising morning sun over the bay.   Chalet Romantica was one of - if not the best B&B we stayed in during our trip to NZ. Inge was very friendly and welcoming and made us feel quite comfortable on our first night in NZ. The location offers a gorgeous view of the Bay of Islands and is walkable to good dining options.
