  The room/suite was huge, but modern looking and very nice. The balcony was the biggest I've ever seen in a hotel/motel. The corridors are long and a bit daunting but wide and safe. Our room was conveniently close to the free secure car park in the back of the hotel. - We have been very satisfied with everything. We can't find any faults.   We only stayed 1 night so it was a sort of "stopover" on our trip round North Island, but the apartment was well equipped & comfortable with some garden furniture in the back "garden". The outlook wasn't great and it was situated on a busy road but very easy to find and very convenient.The bathroom was very big & ours had a spar bath too. ... what people say » - We loved everything (see above). Bed was large and comfortable and room was new and clean. Location to beach and shops fabulous. Weather was amazing. Loved having little back yard to sit in. Liked the fact you didn't have all the usual crap ie shower caps, shoe cleaner, cotton buds etc. Saves the planet. : )

  Karen was very friendly and accommodated our needs by putting us all downstairs in 3 rooms beside one another.   Always a great welcome from Stuart rooms are ready and spotless and you have the option of other facilities at the complex. Cooked breakfast a speciality keeps you going all day on that ride back to Auckland. - Beds comfortable, pool very welcome on a hot day. The Works restaurant on the quay is tremendous.
