  Check in was welcoming and efficient, front desk excellent. Friendly efficient and helpful staff particularly Mr. Keroghlian. Pool and spa area excellent. We had a suite on 14 floor overlooking harbour which was well appointed and quiet from city noise and very comfortable. Location is a1 in a very pretty university area but a short walk to Viaduc... what people say » t and cbd and Parnell. W had stayed here before under the Hyatt management which was not good, so delighted to have new ethos in a very good city hote - We had stayed at the hotel the week before and returned as we found the hotel comfortable, the staff helpful and the location just right for us. The few days we were there were very busy in the hotel which gave it a buzz.

  staff were helpful hotel was lovely great views handy to city private housekeepers were not nosy, or obtrusive, just nice reception gave us a late checkout... we were very impressed with the service and ease of getting a late checkout.. then extending it...for no extra charge. I was running late with an assignment and needed to get it finished so... what people say » booking out of the hotel in the morning would have been a disaster, so thank you Metropolis! We will definitely be back! - Loved the room and the veiw of the harbour. Was close to everything that we wanted to do, ie comedy shows. Will be staying here from now on, great to find a hotel with all we need.
