  I really enjoyed my stay at City Garden Lodge, infact i stayed there on three separate occasions because i enjoyed the peacefulness of its location and the charm and character of such a wonderful historic building. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would certainly recommend it as a place to stay - there is plenty of space to relax, a large k... what people say » itchen and always a hot shower. Great transport links into Auckland make it the ideal retreat. Recently acquired by new owners who are keen to add the - Welcoming atmosphere. Very helpful owner and staff. Comfortable, clean, shared living areas. A once lovely 3 storey villa.Very central. Arrival middle of night, found heater and light on with block of chocolate on bed!
