  Check in was welcoming and efficient, front desk excellent. Friendly efficient and helpful staff particularly Mr. Keroghlian. Pool and spa area excellent. We had a suite on 14 floor overlooking harbour which was well appointed and quiet from city noise and very comfortable. Location is a1 in a very pretty university area but a short walk to Viaduc... what people say » t and cbd and Parnell. W had stayed here before under the Hyatt management which was not good, so delighted to have new ethos in a very good city hote - We had stayed at the hotel the week before and returned as we found the hotel comfortable, the staff helpful and the location just right for us. The few days we were there were very busy in the hotel which gave it a buzz.

  We have been on a 7 week trip of Nz and Oz and the Quay West Suites rate the highest amongst all the accommodation we have had. We were very impressed with all the staff from the cleaners to the reception. The suite was comfortable and very clean with a superb view of the harbour. The air con was silent so we were able to leave it on all night ... what people say » and stay cool, unlilke in many hotel and serviced apartments. The swimming pool was fantastic and empty first thing. Excellent stay. - Staff were very accommodating of my 50th birthday girlie gathering. We had booked a three bedroom suite and was upgraded with the extra villa to a two bedroom deluxe suite. Staff were patient and all requests were met with amicably. I would highly recommend your establishment and hope to bring my family there again soon. Thanks for making my special day MORE enjoyable!

  Having stayed in Hilton for a night just a few weeks earlier, I now regret I gave them a fairly good rating. Sofitel is at least one class better! We were lucky to get a complimentary upgrade to a larger room which was spacious, clean and made us feel special and welcome as guests. But even aside from this (which of course was a one-time luck), th... what people say » e pool is clean, indoor and a lot bigger, the whole hotel is much more modern and nicely designed. Breakfast quality was on a similar level and very g - The staff were friendly, always greeted us as we passed by and no request was ever too much trouble. Loved the peaceful ambience of the hotel with the low lighting of candles after dark. Loved the location just made for a leisurely stroll or a power walk along the beautiful waterfront. The outdoor cafe worked well for a light breakfast and the restaurant and bar were great at night. All of those things worked together to make our stay special and memorable.
