  The hotel is in a perfect location - right opposite the Kyoto station. The station itself is an excellent place for shopping and eating. In front of the hotel is the bus station, which has the buses that will take you to all the sights in Kyoto. Basically, the location of the hotel cannot be better.   We stayed in Kyoto for 6 nights at the Best Western and were thoroughly pleased. As soon as we arrived we were taken very well care of - the staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to assist us. They were also very warm and I could have a bit of a chat and laugh with them too which I love doing.
