Royal Park Hotel The Kyoto . Simple. Everything about this hotel is fantastic! As expected, space is a premium in Japan, but this hotel's plan for our deluxe room uses the space perfectly and with style. We enjoyed two comfortable twin beds with perfect lighting (a clean cotton nightshirt everyday), a modern Japanese styled seating area with a table and cushions, and an exquisite bathroom that offered a glass doored soaking tub and shower compartment. The location was great. In front of Kyoto station. There is a shopping mall at the next block (AEON), where there are many stores, and also Daiso (100-yen shop). The Toji temple was near from this hotel, as well as Kyoto Aquarium. To get to most temples, travelers have to take bus lines, that are just across Kyoto station. Staff friendly. We get a good view of the river and Hiragashiyama through the big window. With three beds, the room still has a lot of space.
