Everything was good. Comfortable bed, very nice onsen with indoor and outdoor bath, sauna. Very clean. Breakfast is well worth the money, open buffet style with plenty of choices (mainly japanese dishes). They have noodle soup after 9 pm, free of charge! There is free wifi in the whole hotel including the rooms, which is reliable and fast. (This could be new as previous reviews said no wifi) Location is good, just next to Kyoto station. Sanjusangen-do (1000 buddhas temple) is walking distance, .
all reviews » Great location to visit Kyoto. Rooms are nice and very functional. Onsen, free ramen and Lawson direct access from the lobby. Service staff was very good and pleasant. They have special commodities to keep your luggage before after check in/out (brought the luggage at our room after early check in and while we were out). The location was perfect for someone wanting to travel around Kyoto and beyond as it was close to Kyoto train station. Staff very professional and spoke good English. The hotel had a trendy and luxurious feel. Great decor! Excellent value for money. The room was a good size for two people. I can't say enough about the service at the hotel. Everyone is so pleasant and helpful. The location can't be beat being do close to the Kyoto Station giving you access to all kinds of transportation. This hotel is the best japan hotel i ever stayed. Room is very "huge" in terms of japan standard. The public bathroom and sauna facilities are very attractive. Free noodles are unexpected bonus. The twin room was good size, the double room is a little tight around the bed. nothing. Was placed in the room with a large hotel sign outside. Not a nice view. Light shine constantly into room. nothing i dislike, if i go back kyoto, i must stay here again !. My first room was just up from street level on a busy road and quite noisy (moved to 8th floor, which was fine). Rooms very small. Coin laundry dryers are terrible and waste of money. Would be better if it was closer to central Kyoto. However, the location was still convenient.
