The location is excellent for touring in the Kyoto area being easy walking distance to the train and subway station. The station itself is practically a destination with many good restaurants and shops. Staff was helpful and enthusiastic although english language communication was a bit of struggle. Breakfast was awesome - go out of your way to start the day with this expansive buffet. Very affordable. Convenient to restaurants.
all reviews » perfect location, right next to the East exit of Kyoto station, I was allowed to drop my luggage before my check in time, They were helpful and answered all my questions, good breakfast but you pay 1000 JPY, My room was facing the station so I had nice view to trains, but the windows are sealed well. Walking distance from Kyoto station. The station has a lot of restaurants and several malls. Very convenient. The staff were helpful. The room was clean and had the basic items you'll need. Even if it was close the the train station, it was quiet in my room. The room came with a couch as well as a bed, makes for extra comfort. There is no wi-fi at the hotel, but directly outside the hotel doors there is a free Kyoto wifi hotspot. It's very close to Kyoto Station! Convenient. Clean rooms, attentive staff, well-equipped (the self-serve laundry facilities were appreciated), convenient location, internet access at no additional charge and no annoying log-in process. Staff is very friendly. Due I decided to stay one night longer, I've got the same room and rate for additional overnight. Room was nice. It is very suitable for Kyoto station access. reception staff were extremely helpful in regards to questions about sigtseeing and transport.Room was good.Would have loved 2 pillows though.many thanks for an enjoyable stay. There was no "Do not disturb" door card and they were rather insistent about the daily housekeeping during 9:30 to 1pm. I was there working and found it a bit of a nuisance since I wasn't always out by that time. Very small room, smoking odour. no breakfast included. the room is small.bath room is also small. Anyway, it is ok for me. I didn't have any problem. The price offered by other agency was slightly cheeper than that offered by you. Wired internet not wifi but can be rectified with a laptop and program. no wifi in the rooms. I found this hotel to be more expensive than Hotel New Hankyu in Kyoto, and not as luxurious. It was still a good functional base from which to travel to Kyoto and its environs. Breakfast shuold be included to the price.
