Oh! And the eggs are fresh from the hens in the b - We were welcomed with open arms. When we first showed up we were offered a very welcome tea and scones. The breakfast was great. It includes porridge with Bailey's Irish Cream. Yum! Not only does the owner make his own scones, but he insisted on giving my wife a lesson on how to make them before we left. The countryside location is authenticly Irish. The farmer across the road and his trusty dog moved sheep and cows from field to field each morning. The room was spotless and beautiful.

  Greta surely was the most personable and friendly host that we stayed with on our recent 2-week tour of Ireland; she greeted us by name and spend a considerable amount of time welcoming us to this fantastic B&B.   Easy to find on the main road into Waterville. Angela very welcoming and gave us some good places to eat dinner. Room was very clean and the breakfast great - the porridge was fantastic :) - Brilliant B&B. Proprieter (Angela) just so welcoming and helpful. Spotlessly clean,great breakfast. Would totally recommend. We stayed for 4 nights.

  We were in Beaufort to climb Carrauntoohil. This bed and breakfast was ideally located to Cronin's Yard, the start point for our climb. It was also close to Kate Kearneys cottage where we enjoyed wonderful dinners and a pint just beside the Gap of Dunloe! So for those interested in hillclimbing this was superbly situated.
