Excellent value-for-money, perfect location, simple practicality, good common sense organisation.

If I have to point something on the lesser side: I had no bathtub. It diminishes the confort a little, but it's really not a big thing.

Great location just beside the central train station. This makes traveling around the city very convenient as the central train station is very well connected. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable.

I liked: 1. the location 2. it is clean 3. everything which is needed is present (soap, gel&shampoo, hair-dryer (i though saw that one guy took hair-dryer from the reception, so probably not all rooms have hair-dryers), even sanitary bags and paper towels, 3 ordinary towels are also there!) 4.breakfast was sufficient for me: several kinds of bread, cereals with yoguhrt, meats and cheese, coffee, tea.

1.the personell at the reception is indifferent. They are either so by character, or too tired of constant teenagers' flow or whatever. as for me - I asked for a hop-off/hop-on ticket, they gave me this for 16,5 euro, handed over the City Circle Flyer.. and that's it. As it turned out later, the price was only valid with some Welcome Card.. I was asked later off the bus on the 2d day, very far from u-bahn station.. thank you, the reception girl.. 2. the room itself is very dull.

Very good access to train station, clean and comfortable, very adequate breakfast. Excellent value for money. Staff spoke English and were very helpful.

I could hear some noise during the night but considered this part of staying at a budget hotel with lots of young people. It was not too bad and I would stay there again. It probably did not help that we found our window was open as it was a lot quieter when closed.

Good, clean accommodation in a convenient location for Berlin sights. The buffet breakfast is very good value. Marco, on reception, was very friendly and helpful.

It was like sitting in a school canteen at breakfast time, the majority of guests being teenagers on a school trip.

- Very close to Berlin Hbf - Staff are helpful and nice in getting me the correct bike for leisure trial and giving me other instructions. - Bathroom is quite large compared with other hostel I stayed.

- No hot water kettle can be borrowed to the room, not good in season. - A fly was found in the hot milk of its breakfast. - In the first night of staying, the bathroom water looks milky and can sense some smell. - A bit noisy due to naughty students of the next room. - Some noise of trains due to too close to Berlin Hbf

It's just a great location in the front of central station, and it wasn't noisy thanks to soundproof windows. Staff are kind and fun. There is a nice bar.

Crowded in the breakfast room. To avoid it, better come before 7.30. But other than that, it's ok.

The location is really good, it is 20 meter far from Hbf. It is easy to go everywhere in the city. The place were absolutely clean. The stuff were also helping and nice to the customers. Facilities in my Private ensuit room were perfect.

it was a bit expensive for a private room. But i think for shared rooms it has high value for money.

the location is very good. it is close to the main station (50 meters) so the hotel is perfect for a stop over during a longer trip.

the restaurant room was too cold because the windows were left open and the temp. outside was approx. 5 degrees celsius.

Fantastic location for rail travellers, right next to the central railway station. Our room faced the railway tracks but was totally silent, so the soundproofing was excellent. It was also nice that the hotel has a bar - we arrived late in the evening and it was lovely to be able to have a nightcap without leaving the premises! It was also good to have free wifi, although the signal wasn't brilliant and took some perseverance.

The bed linen was definitely past its best.

Fantastic location for a casual tourist or a business traveller on a budget. Spotlessly clean and decently sized bathroom. Luggage room available. Kitchen available for guests! Breakfast varied and much better than your average continental (for a decent price). We did not notice any signs of this being "just a hostel" - as a true hotel, it is probably better than a majority of budget hotels in Berlin.

Room (3-bed) pretty small, one could barely move, 2-bed should be better. This type of central air conditioning does not work very well - when a preset temperature is achieved, it stops blowing altogether, and one may suffocate. Its controller emits loud clicks.The window should stay shut because of the noisy building site (with a closed window the level of noise is minimal). No facilities for making tea/coffee in room, but this is made up for by the availabe kitchen.

They do have a hair-dryer in the single room. The early comment from one guest was not true for this type of room.

Excellent location to hop on the bus for city tours, close to shopping and food courts located in the train station which is next to the hotel.
