  Great value for money. Excellent location, close to 3 metro stations. Bathroom was spacious and had a shower/bathtub. Quiet hotel, freindly and helpful staff. We did not take breakfast because there were so many options just outside the hotel. The value for quality is excellent in a city where you often have to pay top price for mediocre accomodations and service. My room this time (302) was very quiet and facing the courtyard. Free - Hotel du Home Moderne is an excellent value, clean and comfortable with modern amenities. We were particularly impressed with the staff. Guillume and Jennifer, who manned the front desk, were outstanding. They always went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. At the buffet breakfast, Lore managed the breakfast room with efficiency and good humor. We also enjoyed the non-touristy neighborhood, which has lots of little shops and cafes and is conveniently located near transportation.

Ideally situated for us between gare du Lyon and gare du Bercy as we had to put classic car on Autotrain at gare du Bercy and then have overnight stop in hotel before getting tgv next morning from gare du Lyon to follow it to Nice. My wife travels in a wheelchair and the hotel was perfectly accessible - even though not designed or advertised as such.
