  We absolutely loved Villa Carrara.In the heart of the Unesco Trogir old city, you opened your window to look onto the cobblestreets and wonderful atmosphere of Trogir.The hotel looks tiny from outside but the rooms are very cosy,new & bright. We are in our 30's & my mom & friend in their 50's,so all ages will have fun there. The staff ... what people say » were incredible & upgraded us for free to a larger room.Josko was great fun,our rental cars trunk ended up being broken & he waited 3 hours in - We stayed in the apartment - room 1. For the moment we arrived we were taken care of. We were given ice creams,coffee and nothing was any hassle. We even borrowed a beach umbrella. As a family we have travelled alot and I can honestly say the service provided by this team is 5star - exceptional. I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel and would most definitely return. Some people have mentioned the bells but really, any where in Croatia you hear the bells at sometime! Didn't stop

  Me and my husband stayed here last month with another couple. We where very pleased with the villa. Very good location, beautiful view of the old town, spotless apartment, nice and modern and very clean bathroom. we where very happy to have chosen this one. We had a good walk in the old town of Trogir and a pleasant dinner. Thanks to the owners, it was a very good nigh - The hotel was facing the harbour with beautiful views of sailing boats from the room window. The hotel is just across the bridge from the mainland and prices are significantly cheaper for food & drink, yet you get to the centre in 5 minute walk. Parking was a squeeze but they accommodated us so that was a bonus.

  Rooms were large and spacious, with an equally large bathroom. Aircon included in the price. Beds were really comfy. Slept better there than at home! Even though the hotel was central, there was no problem with noise at night-time. Manager was extremely helpful and kind, and enthusiastic.   it is a comfortable and friendly, family run hotel, it is basic but pretty and in a great location. i travel in croatia often and accommodation isn't what we are used to in the uk, but i felt this hotel was really making a huge effort and had a boutique feel. good air con and a lovely garden overlooking the marina and old town of trogir. will stay... what people say » again soon. - The situation was perfect, the staff were delightful, the breakfastexcellent for a small added fee.   very nice family run hotel. ideal for romantic holiday and lazy day on the beach which is only two minutes away on foot. The majority of the staff were exceptionally friendly and continuously helpful and always said hello to you and asked how you were with a warm honest smile which we feel homely. breakfast was lovely and food in hotel restaurant ... what people say » was perfect, best tuna steaks with grilled vegetables we ever ate. our room was spotless and all area in hotel, restaurant and pool area too. pool wa - Brilliant hotel in a wonderful location. Staff were great, rooms clean. The sea is only a few minutes away and the hotel restaurant is excellent. Villa Paula is a perfect place to relax from the crowded cities and touristic holiday resorts. The location was perfect, close enough toTrogir and enjoy all the town has to offer but we were able to get a peaceful nights sleep. The view from our room was lovely!

  We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Stil, the hotel is a bargain for the price. We were picked up at the airport by a friendly Ivan which was handy as I doubt we would have found the hotel in a taxi. When we arrived we had a lovely room at the side of the hotel which had a beautiful sea view (ignore the large drilling platform to the far right!) W... what people say » e were really impressed with the room, the staff had clearly thought about everything we would need as there was a fruit bowl, mosquito plug, washing - Very efficient welcome. Great apartment, wonderful view and great pool (but don't expect it to be heated)- perfect for children. Within reasonable walking distance to taxi-boats to Trogir/ beaches and supermarkets. Good value for money- would definitely recommend to others.
