My stay at Palace Suites was truly fabulous. I wanted to be in Diocletian Palace so I knew not to expect a big chain style hotel. This boutique property was delightful- the staff went out of their way to be helpful, my suite was beautiful-by far the largest Suite I have stayed in during my European travels. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was pleasant and very clean. The buffet breakfast was an amazing selection of meats, cheeses, pastries and fruit, as well as bacon, eggs and sausages etc. -

In terms of location it was excellent - very close to the mainharbour area of Split (within 2 minutes walk). The guys that ran theapartments were fantastic - I have a bad leg and one of them helped mewith my bag to the bus to the airport. Basically they went beyond theirduties to ensure I was comfortable.
