The location of Villa Squero was perfect. The first 2 nights we stayed in the attic room where we were happy except for the bonking of our heads on the angled ceiling. We just loved everything. From the location to the fantastic breakfast on the terrace to the most beautiful room with a balcony overlooking the sea. Also, the little touches, like the bottle of sparkling water in the fridge and a gateau to nibble each evening on our return. The hotel is so good for both the old town of Rovinj and also for the wonderful coast line, which we could explore on the free bikes which we got from the hotel. The owners were very friendly and even though we arrived late (at 3 a.m.!!) because we had car problems, they didn't seem to have a problem with it.
The apartment was really nice and quiet with a small terrace, the bed big and comfortable. We would definitely stay there again. -

Amazing hotel, beautifully if not always practically designed. The staff were generally extremely friendly and helpful. The new pool area and cafe are lovely. The hotel was extremely busy when we were there and it was difficult to get a lounger next to the pool but this wasn't a problem as there were plenty of other loungers in amongst the trees.

Spent 2 nights here in Oct.,we were given an upgrade to a Jazz Room and althought it was a bit cool for the water it was great for relaxing! Staff so great !! I can see why it is such a conference hotel as they are very service oriented! Lana at the front desk was delightful and enjoyed meeting the head chef that grew up in Canada(woohoo Canadian Maple Syrup on the menu) Ate in L Restaurant twice and would go back again. The appartment was very clean and is was enough space for three people. The bed broke down by sitting on it, but that wasn't your fault. You were helpful and took a look at it instantly. I think that it's not okay when people ruin something and don't say it to the host.

Amazing views of the sea and the historical Rovinj. Do you feel that you are on the beach. Room was new and clean. Every day was cleaning, fresh towels every other day. Breakfast can choose from the menu, are high. Again we booked a stay in the spring

Fantastic location - getting the boat to and from the mainland wasn't a problem as it was always punctual and the crew were helpful and polite.
Really beautiful hotel - extremely clean and kept very well. The views of the old town are incredible.
Staff - all were helpful, polite and spoke excellent English.
Value for money - it is hard to believe that this is only a 2* hotel as facilities, pool, room etc were all of a high standard

The location in the centre of Rovinj is excellent - adjacent to the port and exactly what we wanted. Lots of activity there and great views. The staff are extremely helpful and the food in the hotel restaurant was first class. - Perfect location overlooking the harbor. Sea view rooms are superior.

The rooms were very clean, well maintained and also well equipped. Washing machine, iron, and all the common kitchen utensils you can think of are all included in the apartment.
You get real value for money.
Our hosts were extremely kind.
I especially appreciate it that when my girlfriend got sick during our holiday, our hostess didn't hesitate to help us out in all ways that she could.
I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.
