The location is fantastic: 5 minutes walk to Diocletian's Palace, but tucked around the back of a building and thus absolutely quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Royal Suites, which is ideally situated near the old town. The highlight was the outstanding attitude of the staff, who provided us with excellent advice and support. Nothing was too much trouble for Maria, Tony, Tina and Lana. The room was very clean and comfortable and we enjoyed excellent breakfasts. We would certainly stay at the hotel again.

This hotel was one of the best hotels I have stayed at. The stuff as friendly and very helpful with both transport as well as tips of what to visit and look for in this city. The room was clean and pretty with some really old stone walls that was beautiful and matched right in with the design of the rooms. The bathroom was lovely and the bed amazingly comfortable as was as a really good breakfast.
Recomends it a lot!

Absolutely fabulous Villa Split Luxury Rooms has everything!! Antonia
kindly met us at the port and showed us where to leave our hire car,
then walked us into the Palace grounds where Villa Split is situated,
on the way Antonia gave us an excellent brief history of the Palace
which was invaluable as she was much more informative that the guide
book we purchased. Once in our room which is perfect in every way,
Antonia said "anything you need, we are here for you" which

A very well run and helpful establishment. Our plane was late and we were processed very slowly at the airport but the shuttle was still waiting for us. Quaint and comfortable, clean room. Very helpful, nice breakfast. Our lovely host even drove us in to catch our boat in Split for a very reasonable cost. -

Our hosts met us before we even got out of the taxi! Beautiful room. Quiet neighborhood in old town. Steps away from narrow streets...steps away from public park...perfect spot to enjoy Split. Delicious breakfast buffet - even local treats to go with great coffee. Pero & Katja such warm and welcoming hosts. Can't imagine any place nicer to begin a vacation on the Dalmatian Coast.

What I can tell to you....after a brief moment of bewilderment at the sight of the building (not looks good)
we arrived in a luxurious room with a jacuzzi and light and sound therapy ... the gift of the hotel was a chilled bottle of champagne and crystal glasses ... cookies and fresh fruit.

having had great difficulty finding a hotel in the centre to save on taxis and on wasting time we plumped for the authentics 'sister' rooms Palace Spa and although seemingly expensive so is the whole of Split . The room however was fantastic and yes it was in a bit of a grotty building however, if you are short on time , want a lovely room with all mod cons, an extremely helpful host, in the centre of Split then go for it.
