Villa Urbi et Orbi was 5 minutes walk to the center and just a few minutes more to the ferries and harbour. The staff were very friendly and we even arranged a drive to the airport through them. Split is a wonderful city to visit with beaches, ruins and lots of great restaurants! -

This hotel couldn't be in a better spot, right in the centre of Split, not far from Diocletian's Palace, and, more practically, close to the bus, train stations and ferry port. Bacvice beach is not far away. I much appreciated one of the cleaning staff putting a fan in my room and turning it on during the day so I could get a good night's sleep on a hot summer night in Split- and, boy,that's hot !
