  The staff on reception and dining room where very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to be accommodating. We have been there before and were not disappointed with the second visit. Room had a nice balcony with sea views. - We arrived a bit early and got a room immediately - feels good after some hours spent on the road..

  The external pools are great and well-suited for all ages. There are two separate pools for younger children sorrounded by antislippery surface. The two bigger pools are 140 cm deep. The crushed stone-covered beach is well kept and relatively spacious. Every day there are animation programs for adults and for the children (e.g aqua gym, aqua aerob... what people say » ic, mini disco). Everything is reachable by elevators, which makes the place enjoyable also for travellers with very young children and also for the - Very friendly stuff, good value for money, perfect location, lovely kids area.

  This is the second time in this hotel... Great location if you are interested in cultural tours and in Rab city... I would not recommend it for families with kids, they should choose a place on the seaside... But for us it was the right place.. Will come again definetely... Breakfasts are always great... Mey be needs few more tables outside for br... what people say » eakfast... but at least 5 or 6 of them... I know many hotels who lock you in a stupid reeom for breakfast. So this is like 5 stars in relation to many - location is perfect, in the center of the old town. infornt of the sea, while having beautiful rocky beach behind it. Staff helpful when you ask them for help. large buffet options. modern good size rooms for the money paid.

  The hotel is obviously old (as almost any hotel in Opatija) but I liked the way they tried to keep it clean and pleasant for tourists. The rooms are big enough, staff really friendly. The view from the balcony is great. 10 min walk to the very center. It is located a bit further than other hotels and just a bit away from the road which is good. We were upgraded into G H Adriatic I. Breakfast was excellent, hot and cold with an outstanding selection. We were so impressed we stayed on for an additional two days on a half board basis which at 72 Euro was outstanding value. No hesitation in recommending this hotel.

  We had one of the apartments and it was huge! There were decks to sit out on to take in the view. Very comfortable beds, large bathroom, everything very clean and nicely decorated.Breakfast selections were amazing - almost anything you could want! So close to beach: across the street and down some steps. Nice quiet relaxing stop on our trip. Wi... what people say » sh we could have stayed another night! - Wonderful unique hotel which made us feel totally at home. We changed hotel after we spent two nights in an awful resort and were lucky enough to get a room in the Grand Hotel. Staff were really helpful and friendly, the food was lovely and our room with a balcony felt like a small apartment rather than a room. Thanks for a fabulous stay, we're looking forward to coming back!
