We stayed at Villa Luppo for a couple of days in August 2013. I can only wish we had more time! Our family had a terrific time. Katia and Ivo are great hosts! Welcoming, very attentive to our needs, always ready to help. We arrived late, it was already dark, they met us nearby and directed us to the apartment. We loved everything about this hotel and the region in general. The rooms are large, clean and beautifully appointed; the views are stunning; Breakfasts are delicious and served on a terrace overlooking the Adriatic. We also enjoyed an excellent dinner at the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a pleasant 15 minute walk from the beautiful old town of Rovinj.

To put it in one word: amazing. Very attentive and kind staff - helpful but at the same time discreet. Rooms are large and luxurious with all the possible "smart" functions. Restaurant is excellent both for fish and meat (amazing beef carpaccio with fresh truffles). Small, cosy spa area with everything you might need for a couple - it costs extra but it is well worth of the small extra charge.
Istria at its best. Highly recommended.

Amazing hotel, beautifully if not always practically designed. The staff were generally extremely friendly and helpful. The new pool area and cafe are lovely. The hotel was extremely busy when we were there and it was difficult to get a lounger next to the pool but this wasn't a problem as there were plenty of other loungers in amongst the trees.

Spent 2 nights here in Oct.,we were given an upgrade to a Jazz Room and althought it was a bit cool for the water it was great for relaxing! Staff so great !! I can see why it is such a conference hotel as they are very service oriented! Lana at the front desk was delightful and enjoyed meeting the head chef that grew up in Canada(woohoo Canadian Maple Syrup on the menu) Ate in L Restaurant twice and would go back again. Presentation and flavors of the dishes were wonderful. Loved the Croation

La Grisa is gorgeous small boutique hotel, perfect for a stay while exploring Istria. Hotel’s location is more than convenient – close to the parking place and on the entrance of the old city of Bale.
Rooms are decorated with a lot of style and bathrooms are spacious. Breakfast is rich and tasteful. During the evening U can enjoy nice glass of vine and eat lovely food on the hotel terrace.
Free hotel pass for the beach(es) in the camp(s) few kilometres away is a great add-on.
