  Hotel Waldinger is a beautiful hotel with lovely furnishings in a grand old building set in the heart of Osijek. The staff, in partcular, Dejan, are first class and can never do enough to help.   We were welcomed by the owner and his son personally and they provided us with all the information you need to vist the city and its surroundings. The accommodation is perfectly located at walking distance from the citycenter mainstreet (50m). The rooms are all new and air-conditioned with a spacious badroom and a li - The staff is really friendly. It is like you came to your family. The design of the hotel might appear strange to someone but I like it very much. You enter the hotel through the bar that has 50 years tradition with local people playing cards and enjoying local atmosphere. The design of the bar is yet from '70ties. Rooms are great. Huge, nicely arranged, clean and new. Breakfast is cooked by the owner himself who is great cook and is made by your own wishes.

  I stayed in the hotel just for one night. The staff was very cordial and accommodating. Since I had to leave early in the morning, the (a la cart) breakfast was served half an hour before normally scheduled. The jacuzzi shower was rather spacious and working well. Very quiet and peaceful, with all the theings needed for a short stay! - Robert was an amazing host/manager and even lent us a mobile phone to call within Croatia.
