Lavada apartment where we stayed for a week was very spacious and homely with all the stuff you could ask for and cool colours makes that a happy place to be.   We spent just a few gorgeous days at Velanera hotel. It is a pieceful place with nice, newly equipped bedrooms and very helpfull, friendly staff. We really enjoyed having breakfasts at the beautifull terrace overlooking swimming pool. Their scrammbled eggs with vegetable were definitely the best we ever had. The breakfast was excellent, we had to wait for it a bit long, but once it was served it was really good. The location is nice, peaceful, but you would need a car if you want to explore other areas which you definitely need to do when in Istria so it is a good starting point and an excellent place to come back to after day excursions.
